Abstract: The present invention discloses system [100] and method [500] for determining competency/s of candidate resume/s received from candidate/s, and providing a response to an employer query. The system [100] comprises an interface [110] for receiving candidate resume/s and employer query; a detecting module [120] for identifying action/s and skill/s in each candidate resume; a processing module [130] for determining competency/s for each candidate resume based on combination/s of the action/s and skill/s. Further, the processing module [130] identifies suitable/competent candidate resume/s having competency/s similar to the pre-defined competency/s associated with the employer query. Based on said identification, the interface [110] provides one of a positive response and a negative response to the employer indicative of availability and non- availability of the suitable candidate resume/s, respectively. The present invention encompasses displaying data/evidence verifying the competency/s of each of the identified candidate resume/s and prioritising the identified candidate resume/s. Fig 1.
WE CLAIM:
1. A method [500] for determining one or more competency of each of one or
more candidate resume and providing a response to an employer based on an
employer query, the method comprising:
identifying one or more skill and one or more action from each of the one
or more candidate resume received from one or more candidate;
processing the one or more skill and the one or more action to determine
one or more combination comprising the skill and the action;
determining the one or more competency of each of the one or more
candidate resume based on one or more combination of the skill and the
action, and generating a final score for each of the one or more
competency;
receiving, from the employer, the employer query corresponding to one
or more pre-defined competency;
processing the employer query to identify the one or more candidate
resume corresponding to the one or more pre-defined competency
associated with the employer query; and
providing the response to the employer based on said identification,
wherein said response is one of a positive response and a negative
response.
2. The method [500] as claimed in claim 1, further comprising assigning a rank to each of the one or more identified candidate resume based on the final score to prioritise the one or more identified candidate resume based on said rank.
3. The method [500] as claimed in claim 1, further comprising updating at least one of the one or more competency, the one or more skill, the one or more
action, the one or more combination, a skill score, an action score and the final score in an event the at least one of the one or more competency, the one or more action, the one or more skill, the one or more combination, the skill score, the action score and the final score are not pre-defined in a taxonomy.
4. The method [500] as claimed in claim 1, wherein determining the one or more competency further comprises storing data from each of the one or more candidate resume verifying said one or more competency.
5. The method [500] as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more competency refers to specific domain of the candidate based on the candidate resume.
6. The method [500] as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more competency is further based on an object clause and a concept.
7. The method [500] as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more skill, the one or more action, the one or more competency, the one or more combination, the skill score, the action score and the final score are one of pre-defined and real time.
8. The method [500] as claimed in claim 1, wherein the action refers to an activity of performing the one or more skill by the one or more candidate.
9. The method [500] as claimed in claim 1, wherein the final score for each of the one or more competency is generated using the steps of:
assigning the skill score to the skill in each of the one or more combination identified in each of the one or more candidate resume, wherein said skill score is based on the taxonomy,
assigning the action score to the action in each of the one or more combination identified in each of the one or more candidate resume, wherein said skill score is based on the taxonomy, and combining the skill score and the action score to generate the final score for each of the one or more competency.
10. The method [500] as claimed in claim 1, wherein the positive response indicates successful identification of the one or more candidate resume corresponding to the one or more pre-defined competency associated with the employer query.
11. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the positive response comprises profile details of the candidate of each of the one or more identified candidate resume, the one or more competency of each of the one or more identified candidate resume and the data verifying the one or more competency, wherein the one or more identified candidate resume are displayed based on said prioritisation.
12. The method [500] as claimed in claim 1, wherein the negative response indicates unsuccessful identification of the one or more candidate resume corresponding to the one or more pre-defined competency associated with the employer query.
13. The method [500] as claimed in claim 1, wherein the negative response comprises a notification indicative of unsuccessful of the one or more candidate resume suitable for the employer query.
14. A system [100] for determining one or more competency of each of one or more candidate resume and providing a response to an employer based on an employer query, the system [100] comprising:
an interface [110] configured to receive at least one of the one or more
candidate resume and the employer query from one or more candidate
and the employer respectively, wherein said employer query corresponds
to one or more pre-defined competency;
a detecting module [120] configured to identify one or more skill and one
or more action from each of the one or more candidate resume received
from one or more candidate; and
a processing module [130] configured to
process the one or more skill and the one or more action to determine one or more combination comprising the skill and the action,
determine the one or more competency of each of the one or more candidate resume based on the one or more combination of the skill and the action, and generating a final score for each of the one or more competency,
process the employer query to identify the one or more candidate
resume corresponding to the one or more pre-defined competency
associated with the employer query;
the interface [110] being configured to provide the response to the employer
based on said identification, wherein said response is one of a positive response
and a negative response.
15. The system [100] as claimed in claim 14, further comprising a storage module [140] configured to:
store at least one of the one or more competency, the one or more skill, the one or more action, the one or more combination, the skill score, the action score and the final score in the taxonomy, and
store data from each of the one or more candidate resume verifying said one or more competency
16. The system [100] as claimed in claim 14, wherein the processing module [130]
is further configured to:
assign a rank to each of the one or more identified candidate resume based on the score to prioritise the one or more identified candidate resume based on said rank, and
update at least one of the one or more competency, the one or more skill, the one or more action, the one or more combination, the skill score, the action score and the final score in an event at least one of the one or more competency, the one or more action, the one or more skill, the one or more combination, the skill score, the action score and the final score are not pre-defined in the taxonomy.
17. The system [100] as claimed in claim 14, wherein the processing module [130],
to generate the final score, is configured to:
assign the skill score to each of the one or more skill for each of the one or more combination identified in each of the one or more candidate resume, wherein said skill score is based on the taxonomy, assign the action score to each of the one or more action for each of the one or more combination identified in each of the one or more candidate resume, wherein said action score is based on the taxonomy, and
combine the skill score and the action score to generate the final score for each of the one or more competency.
