Abstract: The present invention discloses development of locating weld fixture to manufacture power train layout in main frame or chassis. The weld fixture is developed in a single operation by taking the engine front bracket as initial reference which is at 5 degree to horizontal datum and transferring the inclination to remaining brackets i,e Engine Rear, Transmission Front and Transmission Rear.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS AND PRIORITY
[001] The present invention claims priority from Indian patent application numbered IN 202241047097 filed on 18th August, 2022.
FIELD OF INVENTION
[002] The present subject matter described herein, in general, relates to a weld fixture to manufacture power train layout and more specifically relates to development of locating weld fixture to manufacture power train layout in main frame or chassis.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[003] The mounting system of Engine, Transmission and other aggregates are inter-linked and together constitute a Power train layout. The location of seating of these aggregates in main frame needs to be accurate, precise and should be within the tolerance limit specified in drawing. Hence the drawing specification calls for controlled process that can be achieved through machining of these seating locations in main frame. However, manufacturing and capacity constraints leads to high cost and lead time.
[004] Thus, as an alternative solution, a locating fixture is to be developed which can be used for establishing Power train layout without involving the machining process and still capable of producing the Power train layout meeting the drawing specifications.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[005] Main object of the present invention is to develop a weld fixture to manufacture power train layout.
[006] Another object of the present invention is to develop a weld fixture to manufacture power train layout for all brackets in a single operation.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[007] Before the present system is described, it is to be understood that this application is not limited to the particular machine or an apparatus, and methodologies described, as there can be multiple possible embodiments that are not expressly illustrated in the present disclosures. It is also to be understood that the terminology used in the description is for the purpose of describing the particular versions or embodiments only, and is not intended to limit the scope of the present application. This summary is provided to introduce aspects related to the development of locating weld fixture to manufacture power train layout in main frame or chassis, and the aspects are further elaborated below in the detailed description. [008] The present subject matter described herein, in general, relates to development of locating weld fixture to manufacture power train layout in main frame or chassis. The weld fixture is developed in a single operation by taking the engine front bracket as initial reference which is at 5 degree to horizontal datum and transferring the inclination to remaining brackets i,e Engine Rear, Transmission Front and Transmission Rear.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
[009] Accordingly, the present invention discloses a fixture (100) to manufacture and locate a power train in a main frame structure or chassis comprising at least one engine front mounting bracket maintained at a predefined angle to the horizontal is configured to be adapted as reference point for mounting other brackets and plurality of brackets mounted on said fixture (100) configured for mounting the power train assembly.
[0010] The present invention also discloses that the plurality of brackets are configured to be mounted on the said fixture (100) at said predefined angle. The fixture (100) facilitates to mount said plurality of brackets in single operation and setup. The plurality of brackets constitute of engine rear bracket, transmission front bracket and transmission rear bracket. plurality of brackets are configured for mounting rear engine part, transmission front assembly and transmission rear assembly on the main frame structure or chassis.

[0020] The present subject matter a weld fixture designed and developed for locating power train brackets namely Engine Front, Engine Rear, Transmission Front and Transmission Rear Mounting Brackets in Main Frame or the chassis of an Earth Moving product.
[0021] The complexities of manufacturing the Fixture to achieve the Power Train Angle of 5 degree and the references used to meet the design specifications, makes the fixture innovative and special in the category. The engine front bracket is taken as initial reference which is at 5 degree to horizontal datum. This inclination is transferred to remaining brackets i,e Engine Rear, Transmission Front and Transmission Rear using the developed fixture. All the six brackets are located in single operation and set up. The integrated structural design has eliminated two individual operations and making the process more reliable and consistent.

1. A fixture (100) to manufacture and locate a power train in a main frame structure or chassis comprising:

2. The fixture (100) to manufacture and locate a power train in a main frame structure or chassis as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said plurality of brackets are configured to be mounted on the said fixture (100) at said predefined angle.
3. The fixture (100) to manufacture and locate a power train in a main frame structure or chassis as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said fixture (100) facilitates to mount said plurality of brackets in single operation and setup.
4. The fixture (100) to manufacture and locate a power train in a main frame structure or chassis as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said plurality of brackets constitute of engine rear bracket, transmission front bracket and transmission rear bracket.
