Device For Guiding A Sliding Door Of A Vehicle

Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for guiding a sliding door (2) of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, the device comprising an axial guide means (3) made up of at least a first substantially rectilinear rail (31) along which a carriage (32) is able to slide, and an angular guide means (4) made up of a second rail (41) having, in particular, a curved end (42), having a portion that is sloped relative to the first rail (31) and a connecting arm (43) for connecting to the door. The guide device is characterised in that the first rail (31) extends in a plane (Pxy), which plane is, in particular, substantially horizontal, in which the second rail (41) moves such that the connecting arm (43) connecting the door to the guide device extends only under each of the first and second rails (31, 41).
