Abstract: aThe invention relates to a device (100) for holding a fibrous texture on an impregnation former of a winding machine comprising a support forming crossmember (102) each end of which is intended to be fixed to one of the end plates (26) of the former a central shoe carrier (110) mounted on the crossmember and fitted with a shoe (112) intended to press against a layer of fibrous texture (18) wound onto the former two lateral shoe carriers (130) which are mounted on the crossmember and each provided with a main shoe (132) intended to press against the layer of fibrous texture wound onto the former and with a lateral shoe (134) intended to press against a lateral edge (18) of the layer of fibrous texture wound onto the former and means for applying a clamping force to press the shoes onto the layer of fibrous texture wound on the former.
