Abstract: Described is an extension device (200) for a machine to improve an accessibility of work. The device (200) is fitted in the tool post (108) of the machine based on requirement. The device (200) comprises an extension bar (202), a strengthening plate (204), a tool holding device (206) and a plurality of vertical members (208). Wherein the extension bar (202) is preferably made in hexagonal shape and the strengthening plate (204) is preferably made in quadrangular shape. Further, the vertical members (208) are also fastened to the extension bar (202) in perpendicular direction to the extension bar (202). Also, the tool holding device (206) is fastened to the extension bar (202) such that a tool in the tool holding device (206) performs machining during machine operation.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS AND PRIORITY
[001] The present application claims priority from Indian provisional application no. 201921019858 filed on 20th May, 2019.
TECHNICAL FIELD
[002] The present disclosure in general relates to device for a machine and more specifically, to the device for the machine for improving accessibility of a work.
BACKGROUND
[003] Generally, machining of bigger works is carried out by various operations including grinding, facing and boring. All such machine operations are time consuming activities. Specially, machining of bigger works is complex. Sometimes, the work is so big that a machine tool may not reach to an area where machining is required, due to the standard size of the machine. In such case, the work remains unfinished or an operator may need to do the operation like grinding, manually. Manual operations may result in less accuracy. So, there is a need for improvement in the machine to overcome the aforesaid problems.

SUMMARY
[005] Before the present system and method are described, it is to be understood that this application is not limited to the particular machine or an apparatus, and methodologies described, as there can be multiple possible embodiments that are not expressly illustrated in the present disclosures. It is also to be understood that the terminology used in the description is for the purpose of describing the particular versions or embodiments only, and is not intended to limit the scope of the present application. This summary is provided to introduce aspects related to an improvement in the machine for greater accessibility of work, and the aspects are further elaborated below in the detailed description. This summary is not intended to identify essential features of the proposed subject matter nor is it intended for use in determining or limiting the scope of the proposed subject matter.
[006] The present subject matter discloses a device for a machine to improve accessibility of work. The proposed device acts an extension element for the machine to increase a working range of the machine. The device mainly comprises at least one extension bar, at least one strengthening plate, plurality of vertical members, a tool holding device and wherein the device is fitted in a tool post of the machine. The extension bar is configured to be fastened to the strengthening plate, the vertical columns and to the tool holding device. The extension bar is hexagonal in shape and mounted parallel to a radial arm of the machine. Further, the strengthening plate is quadrangular in shape and fastened to the extension bar of the device. The strengthening plate is configured to provide strength to the device. The strengthening plate along with the extension bar is configured to reduce vibration of the machine while performing machining. The vertical members are fastened to the extension bar and mounted in perpendicular direction to the extension bar wherein one of the vertical members is fastened to an interior side of the strengthening plate. The vertical members and the extension bar are fitted in a tool post of the machine. Further, the tool holding device is configured with a hole to hold a tool and a threaded hole for fastening of bolt wherein the bolt secures the tool in the tool holding device.
[007] The objective of the present invention is to provide extension to a machine so as to improve a cutting span of the machine.

[0014] Conventionally, a machine with a cutting tool may be used for machining of a work. In an embodiment, the machine may be a radial planning machine. The radial planning machine may be configured with standard working range. In case, the machining may be performed on a bigger square shape work then the radial planning machine may perform machining on some parts of the work but corners of the work may not be machined due to limited scope of working range. The proposed invention comprises an extension element that may increase a cutting span of the machine.
[0015] Referring to figure 1, a radial planning machine along with a device (200) fitted in the machine is shown. The radial planning machine mainly comprises a base (100), a column (102), a radial arm (104) and a tool holder assembly (106). The column (102) may be mounted on the base (100). The radial arm (104) may be mounted on the column (102) wherein the radial arm (104) may configured to move vertically on the column (102). Further, the tool holder assembly (106) may be mounted on the radial arm (104) wherein the tool holder assembly (106) may configured to move horizontally on the radial arm (104). The radial planning machine may configured to rotate in 360 degrees. In the present invention, a device (200) may be fitted in a tool post (108) of the tool holder assembly (106) of the radial planning machine. The device (200) may configured to be fitted in the tool post (108) when a cutting tool of the tool holder assembly (106) may not reach a work where machining is required to be done.
[0016] Referring now to figure 2, the device (200) of the present subject matter in top view, front view and side view is shown. The device (200) may act as the extension element to the machine. The device (200) may be fitted in the tool post (108) of the tool holder assembly (106) of the radial planning machine. The device (200) comprises an extension bar (202), a strengthening plate (204), a tool holding device (206) and a plurality of vertical members (208). The extension bar (202) may be mounted horizontally and parallel to the radial arm (104) of the radial planning machine. In an embodiment, the extension bar (202) may be hexagonal in shape. The hexagonal shape may exhibit maximum bending moment that may be suitable for bearing a cutting load. Also, the hexagonal shape may provide better grip while mounting on the tool post (108). Further, the strengthening plate (204) may be fastened to the extension bar (202) by a welding. In an embodiment, the strengthening plate (204) may be quadrangular in shape. The strengthening plate (204) may provide more strength to the extension bar (202) and hence to the device (200). The hexagonal extension bar (202) and the quadrangular strengthening plate (204) together may be configured to have reduced vibration of the radial planning machine. The tool holding device (206) may comprises a hole (214) to hold a tool and a threaded hole (216) for a bolt. The bolt may be fastened to secure the tool in the tool holding device (206). The tool holding device (206) may be fastened to the extension bar (202) such that the tool mounted in the tool holding device (206) may perform machining. Further, the vertical members (208) along with the extension bar (202) may be fitted in a slot of the tool post (108). The vertical members (208) and the extension bar (202) may be secured on the tool post (108) by a plurality of bolts. The vertical members (208) may configured to be fastened perpendicularly to the extension bar (202). Also, the interior side of the strengthening plate (204) may configured to be fastened to one of the vertical members (208).

,CLAIMS:
1. A device (200) for a machine to improve work accessibility, wherein the device (200) comprising:
at least one extension bar (202) configured for mounting at least one strengthening plate (204);
a plurality of vertical members (208) for facilitating mounting of said device (200) in a tool post (108) of the machine wherein one of the vertical member (208) is configured to be fastened to an interior end of the strengthening plate (204) and other vertical member is configured to be mounted on interior end of the extension bar (202); and
a tool holding device (206) provided to hold a tool is configured to be mounted on an exterior end of the extension bar (202).
2. The device (200) for a machine to improve work accessibility as claimed in claim 1, wherein the extension bar (202) is configured to be of hexagonal shape and configured to be mounted parallel to a radial arm (104) of the machine.
3. The device (200) for a machine to improve work accessibility as claimed in claim 1, wherein the strengthening plate (204) is configured to be of quadrangular shape and configured to be mounted to the extension bar (202) of the device (200).
4. The device (200) for a machine to improve work accessibility as claimed in claim 1, wherein the strengthening plate (204) along with the extension bar (202) forms an integral part configured to reduce vibration of the machine while performing machining.

The device (200) for a machine to improve work accessibility as claimed in claim 1, wherein the vertical members (208) are configured to be perpendicularly mounted to the extension bar (202) wherein one of the vertical member (208) is adapted to be fastened to the interior end of the strengthening plate (204) and other vertical member (208) is adapted to be mounted at the interior end of the extension bar (202).
6. The device (200) for a machine to improve work accessibility as claimed in claim 1, wherein the vertical members (208) and the extension bar (202) are configured to be mounted in a tool post (108) of the machine.
7. The device (200) for a machine to improve work accessibility as claimed in claim 1, wherein the tool holding device (206) is configured with a hole (214) to hold a tool and a threaded hole (216) provided for fastening of a bolt to secure the tool in the tool holding device (206).
8. The device (200) for a machine to improve work accessibility as claimed in claim 1, wherein the device (200) is configured for increasing a cutting span of the machine.
9. The device (200) for a machine to improve work accessibility as claimed in claim 1, wherein the strengthening plate (204) is configured to provide strength to the device (200).
