Abstract: The invention relates to a device (10) for monitoring the insulation and/or continuity of an electric cable (12) comprising a plurality of electric wires, the device (10) comprising a measuring circuit (16) which can be connected to the electric wires, the measuring circuit (16) comprising: - a measuring stage (20) comprising a voltage generator (22); - a switching stage (25), which can be connected to the measuring stage (20) and is suitable for automatically and successively connecting each electric wire to the measuring circuit (16) and/or suitable for connecting the measuring circuit (16) to ground; - a stage for looping (28) the measuring circuit (16), said looping stage (28) being connectable, wire by wire, to the switching stage (25) and (28) being configured to operate automatically in at least one of two operating modes, i.e. an insulating or resistive mode, associated with monitoring insulation or continuity, respectively.
CLAIMS
1. - Control device (10) for insulation and / or continuity of at least one electrical cable (1 2) comprising a plurality of electrical wires (14 1; 14 2 , 14 3 ), the device (1 0) comprising a measurement circuit (16) connectable to the electrical wires (14 1; 14 2 , 14 3 ) of the cable (1 2), the measurement circuit (16) comprising:
- a measurement stage (20) comprising at least one voltage generator (22);
- a switching stage (25), connectable to the measuring stage (20), suitable for automatically and successively connecting each electrical wire (14 1; 14 2 , 14 3 ) to the measuring circuit (16) and / or own connecting the measuring circuit (1 6) to ground (m);
- a looping stage (28) of the measuring circuit (1 6) connectable, electric wire to electric wire of the cable (1 2), to the switching stage (25);
the looping stage (28) being configured to operate automatically according to at least one of the two modes of operation, insulating or resistive, associated respectively with the insulation control or with the continuity of control of electric cable (1 2).
2. - control device according to claim 1, wherein the polarity of the looping stage (28) in the insulating operating mode and the polarity of the looping stage (28) in the resistive operating mode are reversed .
3. - control device according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the looping stage (28) comprises for each thread it (1, 14 2 , 14 3 ) at least one component (30i, 30 2 , 30 3 ) with unidirectional passage of electric current, each component (30i, 30 2 , 30 3 ) with unidirectional passage of electric current being passed when the looping stage (28) is in the resistive operating mode, and blocked when the loopback stage (28) is in the insulating operating mode.
4. - control device according to claim 3, wherein the looping stage (28) comprises for each wire (14 1; 14 2 , 14 3 ) at least one resistor (32 1; 32 2 , 32 3 ) with said at least one unidirectional component.
5. Control device according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the switching stage (25) comprises electronic switches (25 1; 25 2 , 25 3 ), in particular CMOS switches.
6. - Control device according to claim 5, wherein the electronic switches (25i, 25 2 , 25 3 ) are automatically controlled by a shift register.
7. - Control device according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the measurement stage (20) comprises, in series with the voltage generator (22), a measurement resistor (24), the voltage (Urns) at the terminals of the measurement resistor (24) being suitable for being measured, and representative of the quality of insulation and / or continuity of each electric wire (14 1; 14 2 , 14 3 ) of the cable (12).
8. Control device according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the voltage generator (22) is a variable voltage generator.
9. - Control device according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the control device (10) is manually transportable and comprises a battery.
10. - Method for controlling the insulation and / or continuity of at least one electric cable comprising a plurality of electric wires, the method being implemented automatically by a control device (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 10, the control device comprising a measurement circuit (16) connectable to the electrical wires (14 1; 14 2 , 14 3 ) of the cable (12), the measurement circuit (16) comprising:
- a measurement stage (20) comprising at least one voltage generator (22);
- A switching stage (25), connectable to the measuring stage (20), suitable for automatically and successively connecting each electric wire (14 1; 14 2 , 14 3 ) to the measuring circuit (20);
- a looping stage (28) of the measurement circuit (16) connectable wire to wire to the switching stage (25);
the process comprising the following steps implemented automatically by the control device:
- reception of input data entered via an interface (18) of the control device (10),
- as a function of the value of said input data, automatic activation of at least one operating mode of the looping stage (28) from two operating modes, insulating or resistive, associated respectively with the insulation control or electric cable continuity check (12),
- measurement of the voltage (Umes) across a measurement resistor (24) of the measurement stage (20), after successive connection of each electric wire (14 1; 14 2 , 14 3 ) of said at least one cable to the measurement circuit (16) via the switching stage (25) of the measurement circuit (16) until detection of an insulation and / or continuity fault of said wire (14 1; 14 2 , 14 3 ) electrical, or until all of the electrical wires (14 1; 14 2 , 14 3 ) are connected to said at least one cable (12).
