Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device adapted to be configured inside the vehicle. The device includes a global positioning sensing (GPS) unit. A processor operatively configured with the GPS unit, and configured to execute a set of instructions, stored in a memory, which, on execution, causes the processor to receive, from the GPS unit, a set of first signals pertaining to location of the vehicle after a pre-define period of time. Receive, from an ECU unit of the vehicle, a set of second signals pertaining to one or more parameters of the vehicle. The one or more parameters are related to health of the vehicle, and notify, based on the set of first signals and the set of second signals the one or more options to the user.

The present disclosure relates to the field of providing road side
assistance. More particularly the present disclosure relates to a device to be installed in a vehicle for providing road side assistance.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in
understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the
information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed
invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] Nowadays people are very much open to travel any known or
unknown location as a part of their adventure activities. Such places can be any of
an unknown city or a remote location. In such cases there is a possibility of
someone getting struck because of car failure conditions such as but not limited to
flat tyre. This is one of the things which everyone might have faced in their lives.
The problem may turn out to a bigger problem in terms of people safety. Majorly,
car failures are caused by potholes at the road, improper maintenance of the
vehicle, and inattentive / careless driving. Also, as the location is unknown to the
people who are travelling, they can have a limited or no knowledge of any
automobile work shop around. Sometimes people found a mechanic, that cannot
be trusted in terms of cost, safety and skills. This can be a very annoying situation.
[0004] There is, therefore, a need of a device that can provide to the
people that cab suggests good options for getting the repair done from a reliable workshop close to the vehicle.
OBJECTS OF THE PRESENT DISCLOSURE
[0005] Some of the objects of the present disclosure, which at least one
embodiment herein satisfies are as listed herein below.
[0006] It is an object of the present disclosure to provide a device for
assisting people at the time of road trips to unknown destination.

[0007] It is an object of the present disclosure to provide a device for
assisting people, which is efficient.
[0008] It is an object of the present disclosure to provide a device for
assisting people, which is simple and easy to use.
[0009] It is an object of the present disclosure to provide a device for
assisting people, which requires less maintenance cost.
SUMMARY
[0010] The present disclosure relates to the field of providing road side
assistance. More particularly the present disclosure relates to a device to be
installed in a vehicle for providing road side assistance.
[0011] An aspect of the present disclosure pertains to a device adapted to
be configured inside the vehicle. The device includes a global positioning sensing
(GPS) unit. A processor operatively configured with the GPS unit, and configured
to execute a set of instructions, stored in a memory, which, on execution, causes
the processor to receive, from the GPS unit, a set of first signals pertaining to
location of the vehicle after a pre-define period of time. Receive, from an ECU
unit of the vehicle, a set of second signals pertaining to one or more parameters of
the vehicle. The one or more parameters are related to health of the vehicle, and
notify, based on the set of first signals and the set of second signals the one or
more options to the user.
[0012] In an aspect, the device may be operatively configured with a
databased having an information about a plurality of options from which the one
or more options are selected.
[0013] In an aspect, the plurality of options may comprise automobile
workshop's location close to the vehicle's location.
[0014] In an aspect, the one or more parameter may comprise any or
combination of tyre pressure, engine oil level, engine temperature, and braking
system.

[0015] In an aspect, the device may comprise one or more indicating
devices configured to indicate to the user about the one or more parameters of the
vehicle.
[0016] In an aspect, the indicating device may include any or combination
of a visual indicators, and an audio indicator.
[0017] In an aspect, the device may be configured with one or more
mobile computing devices, and is configured to send an emergency message to
the one or more mobile computing devices.
[0018] Yet another aspect of the present disclosure pertains to a method
for providing a road side assistance to a user in a vehicle. The method includes
receiving, from the GPS unit of a device installed in a vehicle, a set of first signals
pertaining to location of the vehicle after a pre-define period of time. Receiving,
from an ECU unit of the vehicle, a set of second signals pertaining to one or more
parameters of the vehicle. The one or more parameters are related to health of the
vehicle, notifying, to the user, based on the set of first signals and the set of
second signals one or more options.

method for providing a road side assistance to a user in a vehicle. The method

Receiving, from an ECU unit of the vehicle, a set of second signals pertaining to
one or more parameters of the vehicle. The one or more parameters are related to
health of the vehicle, notifying, to the user, based on the set of first signals and the
set of second signals one or more options.
[0035] FIG. 1 illustrates exemplary representation of a device to be
configured in a vehicle for providing road side assistance, in accordance with an
embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0036] As illustrated, a device 100 adapted to be configured inside the
vehicle, for for providing a road side assistance to a user, can include a global
positioning sensing (GPS) unit 102. The GPS unit 102 can be configured with to
sense location of the vehicle after a pre-defined interval of time. A processor 104
can be operatively configured with the GPS unit 102, and can be configured to
execute a set of instructions, stored in a memory 106. On execution of the stored
instructions, the device can receive, from the GPS unit 102, a set of first signals
pertaining to location of the vehicle, the device can be operatively configured with
the vehicle's ECU with any of wireless or wired connection. The user can be any
of a driver driving the vehicle and a passenger travelling in the vehicle.
[0037] In an embodiment, the device 100 can be configured to receive,
from an ECU unit of the vehicle, a set of second signals pertaining to one or more parameters of the vehicle. The one or more parameters can be related to health of the vehicle such as but not limited to tyre pressure, engine oil level, engine temperature, and braking system. Based on the set of first signals and the set of second signals the device can suggest or provide one or more options to the user along with one or more actions required to be performed in order to maintain a good health of the vehicle.
[0038] In an embodiment, the device 100 can be operatively configured
with a database 108 that can include an information about a plurality of options from which the one or more options can be selected based on the vehicle's location. The device 100 can be operatively configured with the database 108 through any of but without limiting to a wireless or a wired network. The detail about the plurality of options can include automobile workshop name, open and close timing. This can facilitate any option from the one or more options selected. The user can book an appointment with any of the one or more option. Also, the device 100 can be communicatively coupled with another similar device installed in any other vehicle. The users inside the both vehicles can communicate with each other. The device can include a unique identification number and every similar device has different identification number that can be associated with the vehicle they are installed in. the device can include one or more indicating devices

110 that can be configured to notify the user about the one or more parameters of
the vehicle. The indicating devices 110 can include but not limited to a visual
indicator such as LED, display, and an audio indicator such as an alarm.

an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0040] As illustrated, at step 202, a method 200 for providing a road side
assistance to a user in a vehicle can include receiving, from the GPS unit of a device installed in a vehicle, a set of first signals pertaining to location of the vehicle after a pre-define period of time.
[0041] At step 204, the method 200 can include receiving, from an ECU
unit of the vehicle, a set of second signals pertaining to one or more parameters of
the vehicle. The one or more parameters are related to health of the vehicle.
[0042] At step 206, the method 200 can include notifying, to the user,
based on the set of first signals and the set of second signals one or more options.

We Claim:

1. A device adapted to be configured inside the vehicle, the device
comprising:
a global positioning sensing (GPS) unit;
a processor operatively configured with the GPS unit, and configured to execute a set of instructions, stored in a memory, which, on execution, causes the processor to:
receive, from the GPS unit, a set of first signals pertaining to location of the vehicle after a pre-define period of time,
receive, from an ECU unit of the vehicle, a set of second signals pertaining to one or more parameters of the vehicle, wherein the one or more parameters are related to health of the vehicle, and
notify, based on the set of first signals and the set of second signals the one or more options to the user.
2. The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the device is operatively configured with a databased having an information about a plurality of options from which the one or more options are selected.
3. The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of options comprises automobile workshop's location close to the vehicle's location.
4. The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more parameter comprises any or combination of tyre pressure, engine oil level, engine temperature, and braking system.
5. The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the device comprises one or more indicating devices configured to indicate to the user about the one or more parameters of the vehicle.
6. The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the indicating device can include any or combination of a visual indicators, and an audio indicator.

7. The device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the device is configured with one or more mobile computing devices, and is configured to send an emergency message to the one or more mobile computing devices.
8. A method for providing a road side assistance to a user in a vehicle, the method comprising:
receiving, from the GPS unit of a device installed in a vehicle, a set of first signals pertaining to location of the vehicle after a pre-define period of time,
receiving, from an ECU unit of the vehicle, a set of second signals pertaining to one or more parameters of the vehicle, wherein the one or more parameters are related to health of the vehicle, and
notifying, to the user, based on the set of first signals and the set of second signals the one or more options.
