Device For Stopping Feed Material In Ring Frame

Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for stopping feed material (e.g. roving) (10) in ring spinning machine in the event of yam break, the spinning machine having drafting system (16 to 23) of the ring frame to which the feed material is fed for producing yarn (9) and to be wound continuously around bobbin(s) (30), adapted to be rotated for winding of the produced yarn passing through a traveller (24), and caused to be rotated simultaneously with the rotation of the bobbin, said traveller moving over a ring (25) surrounding the bobbin, characterised in that said feed material stopping device, receiving the feed material, is activated eiectro-magnetically by signal transmitted to the same, and the said feed material stopping device (1) does not have any physical contact with the ring spinning machine parts and also one side of the feed material stopping device (1) is open for easier resumption of feed material during piecing.
