FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the field of garments. Particularly, the present invention relates to the field of dress materials for men and women. Still particularly, the present invention relates to replaceable border designs in the dress materials such as Dhoti or Saree.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Dhoti is a kind of dress material typically a costume particularly worn by Indians. A dhoti comprises of a long rectangular textile fabric with either plain or embedded patterns or borders. A dhoti or vesti is typically worn by men mostly in the southern region of India. Due to the comfort and ease of wearing, dhoti is a popular apparel among men. Most of the people prefer to wear dhoti to express their respective traditional outfit during occasions and some people prefer it to wear for its simplicity.
Nowadays, most people prefer to wear outfits by matching sets in terms of border colour and patterns. Likewise, in traditional clothes such as dhotis, majority of the people intends to buy a matching set of shirts and dhotis. The problem associated in this aspect is that, most of the shirts does not match with the border colour or pattern of dhoti. Furthermore, finding a matching set of shirts and dhotis is hectic and sometime most people desists and refuse to wear a dhoti though they are aspire to wear one.

There is a need to find an alternative solution for the above said problem. Moreover, if a dhoti based on border or pattern respective to a shirt colour is bought by the user, it may not suitable to any other shirts and thus it mismatches. Searching for a shirt which matches the dhoti or a dhoti matching the shirt is still hectic and there is a need to fix the above said issue. There are some innovations introduced in the field of textiles, which may propose an alternative solution for the above said problem. The existing solution proposed to resolve the above said issue are disclosed in the prior art section.
Indian patent application 5509/CHE/2013 describes a dhoti with a secured fastening system. The invention describes a dhoti with additional fastening means to lock the entire apparel and arrest it to the body of the wearer. The invention comprises of two strips of thin plastic sheet, one covered with tiny loops and other with flexible hook. The fastening means adhere when pressed together and deliberates when pulled apart. Even though the invention describes a secured fastening system for dhotis, it did not propose any solution for the border mismatching issue.
Indian patent application 201641016153 discloses a dhoti with ready to wear shorts. The invention comprises of a dhoti attached to a shorts on the inner portion for providing an ease to the wearer without giving tension or getting loosened off. The existing invention also provides facilities such as pockets on

the sides of dhoti. Even though the existing invention proposes a dhoti with a wearable shorts, it did not propose any alternative solutions for matching border colour.
Even though there are apparels and securing means provided to lock the dhoti along the waist, there are no such inventions proposed in the existing inventions to find a suitable means for matching the border with the shirt color. Moreover, border colours of conventional dhotis are permanent and does not suit to different shirts.
Therefore, the present invention proposes a dhoti with a fastening coloured border which suits to any shirt based on colour. In addition, as the border is replacably fastened to the dhoti, it provides an ease to the wearer of choosing any desired shirt colour.
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
The main objective of the present invention is to provide a dhoti with replacably
fastening border designs.
Another main objective of the present invention is to provide fasteners in the dhotis to fasten various border designs.

Yet another objective of the present invention is to provide a border stripes in different colours and with fasteners for a single dhoti.
The objectives are obtained by providing fasteners in the Border design area especially in the side and bottom portion of the dhotis. Other objectives and advantages of the present disclosure will be more apparent from the following description, which is not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The following presents a simplified summary of the invention in order to provide a basic understanding of some aspects of the invention. This summary is not an extensive overview of the present invention. It is not intended to identify the key/critical elements of the invention or to delineate the scope of the invention. Its sole purpose is to present some concept of the invention in a simplified form as a prelude to a more detailed description of the invention presented later.
According to the main aspect of the present invention, a dhoti comprising a border in widthwise direction and a border in lengthwise direction of the fabric wherein the dhoti has at least a replaceable border strip and said border strip consists at least a fastening means. The border strips are made up with a specific colour or design on the upper side and consists at least a fastening means in the bottom side.

According to another embodiment of the present invention, the fastening means is preferably an adhesive fastener such as adhesive strips or tapes. Alternatively, the fastening means is preferably a snap fastener and said snap fastener is preferably button, magnet, grommets or Hook and loop formation strips.
As a specific advantage of the present invention, the colour and design of the borders in the dhoti are changeable according to the requirement of the wearer. This invention helps to use a single dhoti for shirts with various colours. Advantageously, the present invention can also be used in the women wear for example Saree.
These and other advantages of the present invention will become readily apparent from the following detailed description read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Describing now the drawings, it is to be understood that only enough of the construction of the Ring spinning machine, and specifically the spinning Ring with the associated Traveller have been depicted therein, in order to simplify the illustration, as needed for those skilled in the art to readily understand the underlying principles and concepts of the present invention.
The following description with reference to the accompanying drawings is provided to assist in a comprehensive understanding of exemplary embodiments of the invention as defined by the claims and their equivalents. It includes various specific details to assist in that understanding but these are to be regarded as merely exemplary. Accordingly, those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that various changes and modifications of the embodiments described herein can be made without departing from the scope and sprit of the

Fig 1 and 1a describes the dhoti available in the existing art. Normally, a dhoti (1) is made up of fabric (2) with specific length and width. The length of the dhoti shall be 2 to 4 meters and the width of the fabric shall be 1 to 2 meters. The side portion of the dhoti (1) has a border (3) in widthwise direction and a border (4) in lengthwise direction of the fabric (2). Normally, the dhotis are manufactured with borders on either side of the fabric. But, in the recent developments, one portion in the lengthwise direction of the fabric consists a fastener strip preferably with loop and hook formation to provide a secured and easy fastening of dhoti (Not shown in the drawings).
Fig 2, 2a and 2b describes the Dhoti (11) according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention. The side portion of the dhoti (11) has a replaceable border (13) in widthwise direction and a replaceable border (14) in lengthwise direction of the fabric (12). The border holding portion (15, 16) are

rigidly constructed along with the fabric (12). The borders (13, 14) are made up with a design on the upper side and fastening means (17) in the bottom side. The fastening means (17) is preferably an adhesive fastener such as adhesive strips or tapes.
Fig 3, 3a and 3b describes the invention in Dhoti (11) according to another embodiment of the present invention. The side portion of the dhoti (11) has a replaceable border (23) in widthwise direction and a replaceable border (24) in lengthwise direction of the fabric (12). The border portion (25, 26) are rigidly constructed along with the fabric (12). The borders (23, 24) are made up with a design on the upper side and fastening means (27) in the bottom side. The fastening means (27) is preferably a snap fastener and said snap fastener is preferably button, magnet or grommets. The buttons (28) are mounted in the border portion (25, 26). Alternatively, Hook and loop formation strips shall be used as fasteners.
According to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the side borders (13, 23) are replaceably mounted on the border holding portion (15, 25) of the dhoti (11) and the bottom borders (14, 24) are designed as a main part of the fabric (12).

According to another embodiment of the present invention, the side borders (13, 23) are replaceably mounted on the border portion (15, 25) of the dhoti (11) and the bottom borders (14, 24) are also designed as replaceable border and it can be replacably mounted on the border portion (16, 26) of the fabric (12).
According to still another embodiment of the present invention, the colour and design of the border portion are changeable according to the requirement of the wearer. Plurality of border (13, 23) strips are provided along with the dhoti. The borders are designed in a way to attach the borders in a simple and user friendly way. The snap fasteners can be attached in a desired and flexible way.

WE CLAIM:
1. A Dhoti (11), said dhoti (11) comprising a border (3) in widthwise direction and a border (4) in lengthwise direction of the fabric (2) characterized in that, the dhoti (11) has at least a replaceable border strip (13, 14, 23, 24) and said border strip consists at least a fastening means (17, 27).
2. The dhoti (11) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that, the border strip (13, 14, 23, 24) are made up with a specific colour or design on the upper side and consists at least a fastening means (17, 27) in the bottom side.
3. The dhoti (11) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that, the fastening means (17) is preferably an adhesive fastener such as adhesive strips or tapes.
4. The dhoti (11) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that, the fastening means (27) is preferably a snap fastener and said snap fastener is preferably button, magnet, grommets or Hook and loop formation strips.
5. The dhoti (11) as claimed in claim 1 characterized in that, the border holding portion (15, 16) is rigidly constructed in the fabric (12).

6. The dhoti (11) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that, the colour and design of the borders (13, 14, 23, 24) in the dhoti (11) are changeable according to the requirement of the wearer.
