Abstract: A diagnostic test method for a suceptibility of a patient to heat shock protein-induced complement activation,compirising the step of: i) contacting a sample from said patient with hHSP60; ii)detecting any complement activation;and iii)correlating the result of detection step(ii)with a susceptibility of said patient to heat shock protein-induced complement activation.
