Abstract: In conventional pressure cooker, there is manual counting of whistles for food cooking. Sometimes, we forget to count the whistle number. Because of that, overheating and burning of food takes place. According to this invention, one can overcome these problems, by using this gadget as follows: (1) Set whistle number as per our requirement. (2)It will count down whistles up to reset. (3)It is displayed on 7 segment display with buzzer indication. (4) Pre define timer slot with switch mode selection as alternative option to whistle count. (4) After that it turns off gas burner. (5)This will save our fuel required for overheating and burning of food. Hence, it is portable to use by a person working in a kitchen. It is protected with insulating material to avoid any accidental events. Due to insulating material on circuit connections there are no any chances for sparks.
Claims:We claim,
1. According to this invention, we can easily count and display whistle number and can set different time slot for cooking which will turn off burner after completing defined time slot. We can set timer as per our requirement using switch selection.
2. As mentioned in claim 1,we can change material of regulator switch accordingly.
3. As mentioned in claim 1, as we are using restoring force stored in spring, whole assembly will work on restoring force. Hence type of spring may vary.
4. As mentioned in claim 1,We can vary position of seven segment display or digital counter.
5. As mentioned in claim 1,We can accordingly use the devices for showing digital result other than seven segment display.
6. As mentioned in claim 1,We can change the direction of regulator by changing the position of spring. It may be clockwise or anticlockwise.
7. As mentioned in claim 1,Whole system can work without using any controller and programming.
8. As mentioned in claim 1,Input sensor may vary as per position of display as mentioned in claim 4.
9. As mentioned in claim 1,Up down counter used for counting whistle and IC 555 is used for timer or clock signal.

The following specification particularly describes the nature of this invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
This invention relates to design and development of electronic gadget which can display pressure cooker whistles number on seven segment display. One can set count of whistles, this system countdown it and after getting zero value it turn off burner automatically. It avoids overheating and burning of food, which results into saving of fossil fuel such as LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) used in gas-cylinder and Kerosene used in stove. This invention has provision of timer for pots other than cooker for cooking. We can set timer as per our requirement using switch selection. It works without controller and programming. It displays count down time on decade counter using seven segment display.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Pressure cooker is a utensil used for cooking food. Now a days, there are large number of advanced pressure cookers available in market, which will enhance efficiency of pressure cooker. Worldwide billion of people are using pressure cooker for food cooking. To count the whistles manually, it is tedious and hectic work. Sometimes we forget the count of whistle and it may cause overheating and burning of food. So it is required to keep burner ON for different time slots like 5 minutes, 10 minutes or 15 minutes as per our requirement. We also want to acknowledge the number of whistles. It works on two different modes. One is for time based control of burner and another using whistle count displayed on gadget. In this invention we are designing a system which can remain ON as per given time slot through different switch selection. By using seven segment display we are displaying whistle number or remaining time on display to turn OFF burner automatically.
Indian Patent No. 201621005754 discloses a Following invention provides a portable battery operated device for counting whistles of a pressure cooker. Invention is designed to save the energy and alert the user. Normally designed pressure cooker are of mechanically designed but in this case the portable device is placed on it. Device is battery operated, which is removable and the power consumption is less. For alerting user buzzer is used, which is controlled by the controller unit. Programmable controller is use to take the input from the input unit and counter. Device is very user friendly; any user can control this device. It is implemented for pressure cooker for saving the non-renewable sources. Following invention is described in detail with the help of Figure 1 of sheet 1 showing assembly of the Digital Whistle Alert System for Pressure Cookers.
Indian Patent No. 201621018465 Proposed invention discloses a mechanical regulator with an inbuilt whistle counter for a pressure cooker. The regulator has two concentric cylinders wherein the inner cylinder is fixed and has opposing saw tooth arrangements on its upper and lower periphery while the outer cylinder termed as dead weight cylinder is rotatable over a pin. The pin moves in a sleeve that has a steam vent. Pressure of steam causes the pin to move up until the steam vent releases steam causing a whistle and the pin drops down. This up and down motion of the pin is transferred to a follower pin through the dead weight cylinder. The follower pin moves over contours formed by the opposing saw tooth arrangements to create a stepped rotary motion that is transferred to the dead weight cylinder and used to count the whistles.
CN203122079U discloses a the utility model discloses a pressure cooker and a pressure regulating device of the pressure cooker. The pressure cooker comprises a pot body, a pot cover and a mounting base. The pressure regulating device is arranged on the pot cover and comprises an air discharging valve, a magnet piece, an operation button and a self-locking piece, wherein the air discharging valve comprises a valve body and a valve core, the valve body is connected on the valve core, two ends of the valve core penetrate through the pot cover and the mounting base respectively, a steel piece is arranged on the valve body, the magnet piece is movably arranged on the valve core, the magnet piece can move in the axial direction of the valve core, the operation button can be movably arranged on the pot cover and penetrates through the mounting base, the operation button drives the magnet piece to move downwards when the operation button is touched, and the self-locking piece is arranged on the pot cover and locks the operation button when the operation button is locked. According to the pressure regulating device used for the pressure cooker, pressure in the pot body can be regulated needs for cooking of various food are met, reliability is strong, the structure is simple and the cost is low.
ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION:
According to this invention, we consume required amount of fossil fuel for food cooking purpose. By using this gadget, we easily count and display whistle number as well as we can pre-set it according to which type of food is cooking in a pressure cooker. In another mode we can set different time slot for cooking and it will turn off burner after completing that time slot. In this invention we are designing system without using motor control for switch and controller programming. It also gives buzzer indication, according to given reset whistle count. It overcomes the overheating and burning of food. Itis user friendly gadget. It helps the person who working in a kitchen to reduce their time required for food cooking. There is another provision for food cooking using timer in this gadget. Timer will switch off burner after particular time delay automatically.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
The main objective of these inventions is to avoid overheating and burning of food. It is avoided by counting and display of whistle number on 7 segment display with buzzer indication.
Another objective of this invention is that as per time slot or whistle count, it turns off gas burner automatically.
Another object of these inventions is to reduce fossil fuel required for unnecessary cooking of food in pressure cooker. Which will results into less time consumption of food cooking in a kitchen.
If food is cooking by using another pots rather than cooker then it is necessary to turn OFF burner after specific time slot. So in this invention, there is provision of turning OFF burner after countdown of pre specified time automatically.
Now a days, in billions of houses as well as in hotels, pressure cooker is used for food cooking. But the problem arises during food cooking is to count whistle number manually. Therefore, at least one should have to stay in a kitchen during food cooking in a pressure cooker to count whistles. Another problem of food cooking using pots other than cooker, we expect to remain burner ON for specific time only. Also lady or person working in kitchen has to do multitasking and sometimes he/she forget to turn OFF burner. These are the problems raised during food cooking and ignorance of it causes overheating and burning of food.
To overcome these problems, we invented gadget which will do following tasks:-
(1) MIC sensor will detect whistle sound and give signal to counter.
(2) Pre-set whistle number according to which type of food is cooking in a pressure cooker.
(3) It will count and display whistle number on 7 segment display using decade counter.
(4) It also gives buzzer indication, when reset condition is achieved.
(5)It turns off the gas burner, when reset condition is achieved.
(6) Different time slots given with switches, one can select time duration using it.
(7) If anybody want to turn OFF burner after different time slot then it can turn OFF burner using switch assembly.
Hence, in this invention we are displaying whistle count or time and turning OFF burner control switch automatically.

Figure 1 illustrates the traditional whistle counting technique i.e. manually.
Figure 2 illustrates whistle counting system which detect MIC sensor input and display count on digital seven segment display. It has switch at output side to turn OFF burner after zero value of whistle count or completing pre-set time slot.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS:
In traditional food cooking system using cooker and gas burner we have to count cooker whistle manually. Sometimes we forget to count number of whistle and it causes burning and overheating of food.
In our invention, this gadget work in two modes
a) Whistle count Mode
b) Timer Mode
In whistle count mode we can attach switch (56) of this invention on burner switch (53) for rotation purpose. By turning on this gadget using power supply (59) one can set whistle count by using push to on switch (56). It will increment count as per our requirement and then decrement as it receives signal from whistle though sensor (55). For example we want to set three whistle then we can press this switch (56) for three times. As we receives first whistle it decrement count by one that means now it will display (52) two on seven segment display (52).If count reaches to zero then it turn off burner (53)switch automatically. It sends signal to buzzer and it remains on till it rotate to off condition of burner.
In timer (54) mode of operation we can set different time slots for cooking of food. It is required when we are using pot other than cooker for cooking. In this invention we had given provision to set different time slots as per our requirement. For example we set five on counter (51) manually to cook food for five minutes, then counter (51) and seven segment display (52) will decrement count for each minute. When it reaches to zero then burner turn off automatically. It is indicated by using buzzer(58)Buzzer (58) will remain on for zero count and it turn off when switch rotate to off condition of burner.
In this invention we can save our time for food cooking and there are no any chances of overheating and burning of food. It avoids food wasting and reduce consumption of LPG gas. It also avoid fatigue and stress to remember whistle number each whistle. It is user friendly gadget for the person which is working in kitchen.
Following is detail description of various blocks in drawing/ block diagram.
Counter: It is decade counter ((51) which count from 0 to 9 on single digit seven segment display. It take input from MIC sensor (55) and generate signal given to seven segment display (51) through latch.
Seven segment display: It has eight pins and seven segment display (52) with decimal point. Seven segment are a, b, c, d, e, f, g and decimal point. We can use common cathode seven segment display.
Burner turn OFF switch: It consist of circular switch (53) mounted on burner control switch. Internally it consists of spring and switch holding facility. Before automatic rotating action of switch one can rotate and hold it. When condition get achieved switch will rotate automatically and turn OFF burner immediately.
Timer: By using IC 555 as timer (54) one can select required time slot for cooking in pot (60) other than cooker by switch selection mode. This display represent count from 0 to 9 and we cans set time slot from switch selection and displayed count.
Sensor: MIC sensor (55) will detect sound from whistle and generate output as pulse which is given
Input switch: This is push to on switch (56) and used to set count for whistle (61) as well as timer (54).
Comparator: Comparator (57) used to compare output of counter with zero input as reference .Counter gives different output which is connected to buzzer through OR gates and voltage divider network.
Buzzer: DC supply operated buzzer (58) remain ON for short duration after achieving output and seven segment display.
Power Supply: It is 9 volt DC regulated power supply (59) with 500 mA current.
