Abstract: A disk brake (10) comprises: friction pads (24, 25) provided to a disk rotor (11) at lateral positions in a disk axial direction and provided movably in the disk axial direction; and a carrier (21) having an inner peripheral surface (21b) that supports the friction pads (24, 25) and is formed along an outer peripheral edge of the disk rotor (11), and filter sections (55, 56) that are provided on the inner peripheral surface (21b) and face the outer peripheral edge of the disk rotor (11).
