Abstract: This disk brake (10) comprises a brake caliper including: a first bridge part (141) which is on the side of a first pin arrangement part (124) and is provided with a sprue mark (191) during casting of a caliper main body part (101); and a second bridge part (142) which is on the side of a second pin arrangement part (125), wherein the brake caliper takes a shape where a cross-sectional secondary moment of the caliper main body part (101) on the side of the first bridge part (141) becomes greater than a cross-sectional secondary moment of the caliper main body part (101) on the side of the second bridge part (142) when the caliper main body part (101) is divided by a straight line bisecting a line segment connecting the center of the first pin arrangement part (124) with the center of the second pin arrangement part (125), as seen from the axial direction of the disk.
