Description:TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates generally to food processing apparatus. In particular, the present patent disclosure pertains to a dispenser assembly for dispensing globules of semi liquid material.
BACKGROUND
[0002] In India, there is, in every season, a fair or a festival, where the traditional foods are exchanged between neighbors/ relatives as a gesture to wish the festival. The traditional foods such as boondi, laddu, and the likes widely distributed on every festival. These foods are generally of spherical shape and very popular throughout the country. These food products are prepared by a batter or paste of raw materials such as gram flour, semolina, water and many other raw materials.
[0003] All the preparatory operations in the manufacture of these food products are carried out manually. Firstly, batter is prepared and poured on a strainer, which is positioned over a frying pan containing hot oil. A person holds the strainer through a handle attached to the strainer and moves the strainer up and down to apply pressure on the batter to dispense globules through the strainer into the hot oil and taken out by another strainer. It is cumbersome and requires skilled manpower to prepare these food products, which reduces the production rate also. Further, due to manual operation of producing the globules, the size of the globules is inconsistent.
[0004] Efforts have been made in the related prior art to provide different solutions for producing the globules of batter in an easy way, with less man power. For example, IN Application number, 201711039164 discloses an apparatus for dispensing and frying globules. It comprises a hopper assembly vertically mounted on a frame to supply a semi-solid batter, an adjustable sieve assembly coupled with the frame to receive the semi-solid batter from the hopper assembly, a reciprocating motion generator to generate a linear harmonic reciprocating motion in the adjustable sieve assembly to dispense the semi-solid batter in form of globules. However, the arrangement disclosed in this application is large in size, thus requires extra space to store the apparatus, and electricity is required to actuate the reciprocating motion generator, therefore, fails to provide a complete comprehensive solution of a handheld apparatus for producing the globules.
[0005] Another IN Application number, 656/DEL/2008 discloses a device for continuous production of boondi. It comprises a frame which includes a vertical rod connected to a sieve, a container for holding the batter, and a toggle switch. Upon actuation of the toggle switch, the vertical rod moves up and down, giving an impact to the sieve, this allows passing of the batter through the sieve.
[0006] However, in such existing applications the devices disclosed are large in size, which requires extra space to store the device, and electricity is also required to actuate motion in the sieve to dispense the globules. Also, these existing devices lack in dispensing distinct type of the globules as required. Therefore such devices fail to provide a complete comprehensive solution of a handheld apparatus for producing the globules with variations in its size.
[0007] As can be seen, prior art references provide different types of apparatus which are used for continuously producing globules of semi liquid material. However, there is a need in the art to provide a device that obviates the above-mentioned limitations and is compact, easy to use.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[0008] A general object of the present disclosure is to provide a compact apparatus to prepare globules of semi liquid material.
[0009] Another object of the present disclosure is to provide an apparatus for preparing the globules of semi liquid material which is easy to operate.
[0010] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for producing the globules of two different shapes.
[0011] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus which is easy to hold.
[0012] Yet another object of the present disclosure is to provide an apparatus which is stored in a small place.
[0013] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus which operates manually, without any electricity.
[0014] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus which is cost-effective.

In an exemplary embodiment, the first apertures 110-A can be configured to dispense boondi of small size, which can be used to prepare Indian sweet dish such as laddu (motichoor). In another exemplary embodiment, the second apertures 110-B can be configured to dispense boondi of large size, which can be distribute as prasad in the temples.
[0044] In an embodiment, a cover 112 can be movably configured beneath the base 108 to selectively cover 112 any of the first apertures 110-A and the second apertures 110-B. In another embodiment a knob 126 can be configured with the cover 112 that can enable the entity to move the cover 112 towards the first portion 108-A of the base 108, when the second portion 108-B of the base 108 is in function. In an exemplary embodiment, the first part A of the base 108 can be covered by a cover 112 to prevent dispensing of the semi liquid material, consequently the , the second part 108-B of the base 108 can be opened that allows dispensing of the large size of the globules.
[0045] In an embodiment, at least one plate 114 can be movably configured within the cavity to press the semi liquid material against the base 108 to enable dispensing of the globules of the semi liquid material. In an exemplary embodiment, the material is semi liquid, thereby cannot pass through the first apertures 110-A and the second apertures 110-B easily, the plate 114 press the semi liquid material in such a way, that allows continuous dispensing of the globules of the similar size.
[0046] In an embodiment, a driving unit 116 can be operatively coupled with the at least one plate 114, the driving unit 116 can be configured to rotate the at least one plate 114 along a first axis of the base 108. In another embodiment, the driving unit 116 can include any or a combination of coaxial arranged spring, a winder, drives wheel, rotor disk, bearing bushing and the likes.
[0047] In an embodiment, a cord 118 can be coupled to the driving unit 116 at first end of the cord 118 to actuate the driving unit 116, and the driving unit 116 can be actuated by pulling a second end of the cord 118. In another embodiment, a handgrip (not shown) can be configured at the second end of the cord 118 that can enable the entity to pull the cord 118. In an exemplary embodiment, when the cord 118 is pulled by holding the handgrip, the driving unit 116 actuates, which consequently moves the at least one plate 114 along a first axis of the base 108 to press the semi liquid material.
[0048] In an embodiment, a handle 122 can be attached to the sidewall 104 of the container 102. The handle 122 can assist the entity to hold the dispenser assembly 100 to dispense easily over the frying pan.
[0049] In an embodiment, the dispenser assembly 100 can include a set of shaft 124 coupled inside the container 102, where at least one or more shaft of the set of shaft 124 can be coupled perpendicularly. In an exemplary embodiment, first end of the first shaft can be coupled to the sidewall 104 in the proximity of the handle 122, second end of the first shaft can be coupled to first end of a second shaft, and second end of the second shaft can be coupled to the driving unit 116. In another exemplary embodiment, the first end of the cord 118 can be attached to the driving unit 116, and the cord 118 can be passed through, the set of shafts 124, and the handle 122.
[0050] In an exemplary embodiment, the cord 118 can be attached in the dispenser assembly, such that the cord 118 cannot appear in direct contact of the semi liquid material, which can wet the cord 118. The cord 118 can be concealed inside the handle 122 and the set of shafts 124.
[0051] The present invention has the beneficial advantage that can be compact, simple and easy to use. The dispenser assembly 100 for dispensing the globules of the semi liquid material can be quick and dispense the globules of the equal size. The dispenser assembly 110 can be operated manually without electricity.
