Abstract: [Problem] To provide a display controller capable of allowing users who are viewing content at the same time to easily ascertain how many users are involved and enabling a user to smoothly communicate with other users easily. [Solution] The present invention provides a display controller provided with: a user information acquisition unit for acquiring information pertaining to the presence of one or more users using the same content as an outputted content; a user position determination unit for determining using the information pertaining to the presence of the users as acquired by the user information acquisition unit a position at which the presence of the users is displayed; and a display control unit for exerting control on the basis of the display position determined by the user position determination unit so that the information pertaining to the presence of the users is displayed in such a manner that the users are using the content together.
