Abstract: A display device includes: a front-face member having a transparent plate, a frame having a joint face joined to a rear face of the transparent plate by a joint layer and a holding face provided upright from the joint face, and a hook projected from the holding face of the frame to the outer periphery side of the transparent plate; a display panel which is fit in the frame; a sandwiching member having a pair of clipping faces which come into contact with rear and front faces of the display panel, a side face connecting the pair of sandwiching faces, and an opening which is formed in the side face and to which the hook is inserted; and a rear-face casing covering the entire rear face of the transparent plate.
