"Display System And Backlight System"

Abstract: A display system includes: a liquid crystal display section displaying an image; a backlight source emitting source light; a photosensor section detecting a spectrum distribution of external light supplied from outside; and an external-light adjustment section adjusting the external light based on a detection result of the photosensor section. The backlight source supplies the emitted source light to the liquid crystal display section, and the external-light adjustment section supplies the adjusted external light to the liquid crystal display section.
