Dry Electrode Comprising Mixture Powder For Electrode

Abstract: A dry electrode obtained by means of a production method according to the present invention has high dispersibility of a conductive material in an electrode active material layer. Thus, the effect is achieved whereby, when the conductive material content in the electrode is constant, as dispersibility increases, the internal resistance of the electrode active material layer and the interfacial resistance between same and a current collector are reduced. In addition, if the dry electrode having high dispersibility is applied to a battery, ohmic resistance is reduced when driving the battery, and thus a voltage drop may be improved, and high power output efficiency may be enhanced. If the dispersibility of the conductive material is extremely defective, electrode active material degradation and thus variation according to location in the electrode may occur, thereby causing a disadvantage to battery lifetime characteristics. In addition, an assessment tool, according to the present invention, enables checking the dispersibility of the conductive material in the electrode by means of a quantitative numerical value.
