7. The clasp lock (100) according to claim 1, wherein the plurality of ornamental products comprises but not limited to a jewellery, a belt, a tubular structure, a locking unit for an apparel and a locking unit for a bag. , Description:A) TECHNICAL FIELD OF INVENTION

[001] The present invention generally relates to a mechanical locking device and particularly relates to a dual secured clasp lock preferably but not in limited manner for jewellery.

B) BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

[002] Jewelleries like necklaces, bracelets and other chain-based jewellery items are dominant part of ornamental decoration in present context. For securing jewellery clasps are used to connect the free ends of necklace chains, watch bands, strap bracelets and the like. The very nature of the clasp, the association with delicate jewellery chain requiring a small, delicate aesthetic appearance, requires delicate locking means. Such locking means, however, hold extremely valuable pendants, pearls, etc., connected to the jewellery chain. The delicate nature of the clasp makes the opening and closing of the clasp a nuisance operation especially due to the ease with which the clasp or jewellery chain breaks when under the strain of opening. The locking mechanism is therefore delicate and subject to malfunction or accidental release, resulting in the detriment of the security of the necklace.

[003] In the view of foregoing, there is a need for a clasp lock with enhanced locking mechanism with easy locking and unlocking functions.

[004] The above-mentioned shortcomings, disadvantages and problems are addressed herein, as detailed below.

C) OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[005] A primary objective of the embodiments herein is to provide a clasp lock with enhanced locking mechanism with easy locking and unlocking functions.

[006] Another objective of the embodiments herein is to provide a clasp lock with increased space for latching of locking components to increase tension between the components.

D) SUMMARY OF INVENTION

[007] The various embodiments of the present invention provide a double secured clasp lock for a group of ornamental products. The clasp lock comprises a male locking unit and a female locking unit. The male locking comprises a latch with an eyelet opening for gripping. The female locking unit comprises a box and a pair of pushers. Each pusher is assembled to the box through a spring. The box comprises a pair of bars parallel to each other near a central axis of the box. The pusher is connected to the box through a hinge mechanism.

[008] According to one embodiment of the present invention, each pusher comprises a plurality of pawls on a proximal end and facing towards the box.

[009] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the latch comprises a plurality of teeth shaped serrations on a side surface for latching a plurality of pawls provided over the pair of pushers.

[0010] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the springs are flat springs and rests against the pair of bars in the box. The springs provide a swivel movement of the pusher through the hinge during a locking and an unlocking operation.
[0011] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the pushers have a hook shaped proximal end opposite to the proximal end comprising a plurality of pawls. The hook latches into a serration provided in a side surface of the box to create a second order of locking.

[0012] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the latch is locked to the box by inserting the eyelet into an opening provided along cross section of the box. The latch is locked to the box through latch of the plurality of pawls of the pusher into a plurality of serrations provided in the latch to create first order of locking.

[0013] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the plurality of ornamental products comprises but not limited to a jewellery, a belt, a tubular structure, a locking unit for an apparel and a locking unit for a bag.

[0014] These and other aspects of the embodiments herein will be better appreciated and understood when considered in conjunction with the following description and the accompanying drawings. It should be understood, however, that the following descriptions, while indicating preferred embodiments and numerous specific details thereof, are given by way of illustration and not of limitation. Many changes and modifications may be made within the scope of the embodiments herein without departing from the spirit thereof, and the embodiments herein include all such modifications.

E) BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0015] The other objects, features and advantages will occur to those skilled in the art from the following description of the preferred embodiment and the accompanied drawings in which:
[0016] FIG. 1a illustrates an exploded view of a double secured clasp lock, according to one embodiment herein.

[0017] FIG. 1b illustrates an exploded view of a double secured clasp lock with spring connected to the pusher, according to one embodiment herein.

[0018] FIG. 1c illustrates a perspective view of a latching of the pusher with the male unit, according to one embodiment herein.

[0019] FIG. 1d illustrates a top perspective view and a top view of the assembled male unit latched with the female locking unit, according to one embodiment herein.

[0020] FIG. 1e-1g illustrates a top view, a side perspective and a bottom view of an ornamental embedding over the clasp lock respectively, according to one embodiment herein.

F) DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0021] In the following detailed description, a reference is made to the accompanied drawings that form a part hereof, and in which the specific embodiments that may be practiced is shown by way of illustration. The embodiments are described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice the embodiments and it is to be understood that the logical, mechanical and other changes may be made without departing from the scope of the embodiments. The following detailed description is therefore not to be taken in a limiting sense.

[0022] With respect to FIG. 1a-1g, the clasp lock 100 comprises a male locking unit 101 and a female locking unit 102. The male locking unit 101 comprises a latch 103 with an eyelet opening 104 for gripping. The female locking unit 102 comprises a box 105 and a pair of pushers 106. Each pusher 106 is assembled to the box 105 through a spring 107. The box 105 comprises a pair of bars 108 parallel to each other near a central axis of the box 105. The pusher 106 is connected to the box 105 through a hinge mechanism 109. each pusher 106 comprises a plurality of pawls 110 on a proximal end and facing towards the box. The latch 103 comprises a plurality of teeth shaped serrations (not shown) on a side surface for latching a plurality of pawls 110 provided over the pair of pushers 106. The pushers 106 have a hook 111 shaped proximal end opposite to the proximal end comprising a plurality of pawls 110. The hook 111 latches into a serration provided in a side surface of the box 105. At least one face of the clasp lock is covered by a bracket 112.

[0023] The present invention provides a quick-release clasp lock and satisfies a plurality of problems with a hook and latch fasteners with respect to other clasps of the prior arts. In addition, the components making up the clasp lock are not subjected to excessive movement, when the clasp is closed opened which reduces wear and tear. The clasp lock is opened with a single, sharp pull of a hand, provided as part of the clasp lock, and thus operates quickly in emergency situations.

[0024] In the same manner, the latch assembly is released by pushing the pusher inside which applies a simultaneous tensile force on the eyelet of the latch to pull the latch out from the female locking unit of the clasp lock.

[0025] As the latch continues to be locked, the leading eyelet of the latch continues to engage the first leg of the plurality of pawls. The pusher is pushed towards the box by a small force until the hook of the pusher moves into the opening which results into releasing of the springs.

[0026] It is to be understood that the phraseology or terminology employed herein is for the purpose of description and not of limitation. Therefore, while the embodiments herein have been described in terms of preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the embodiments herein can be practiced with modification within the spirit and scope of the claims.
