Abstract: The present invention provides a dust catcher as an advanced spray droplets generator using rotary atomization for the spraying of a wide range of liquids for humidification, cooling, dust control, cold fogging and other processes. The humidifier uses a unique rotating woven wire gauze cylinder that produces spray droplets with a narrow spectrum of sizes over a wide range of flow rates from a few milliliters/minutes to 10 liters/minutes. The narrow droplet spectrum ensures that the maximum amount of liquid is sprayed as droplets of the optimum size and minimizes wastage or contamination from excessively large droplets. The direct drive Industrial humidifier are designed for use with water, solutions of deodorizing chemicals and similar liquids in a wide range of applications.
Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to the field of Industrial appliances, and more particularly, the present invention relates to the dust catcher.
BACKGROUND FOR THE INVENTION:
[002] With the development of the city and the growth of the population base, the pressure on housing is increasing. There are more and more construction sites everywhere. The dust and debris generated during the construction process will pollute the surrounding air and affect the lives of nearby residents. Causes a greater impact, and the installation leads to the occurrence of diseases, but the existing building dust reduction fog cannons often incompletely atomize the water droplets, causing a large number of water droplets to be sprayed, wherein the breaking of water- or water-soluble particles up to or nearly 10 microns size enables the water particles to easily combine with dust or other minutes which is larger water/ water-soluble particles are not able to combine to produce optimum results.
[003] The applicant has conducted a world-wide prior art patent search in order to elucidate the distinguishing features of the proposed invention:
[004] CN216922200U discloses a fog curtain water spraying and dust-falling device for a tunnel. The fog curtain water spraying and dust-falling device comprises a support, an adjusting structure, a nozzle, and a water pipe. The multiple sets of adjusting structures are arranged on the support, the water pipe is arranged on the support, and the spray head is rotatably connected to the support; the adjusting structure comprises a motor, a first screw rod, a movable block, and a connecting rod; the output end of the motor is fixed with the first screw rod; the first screw rod is rotatably connected to the bracket; the first screw rod is adjustably connected with the movable block along the axial direction of the first screw rod; the end, away from the movable block, of the connecting rod is rotationally connected with a spray head.
[005] CN213375723U discloses a movable spray dust removal device which comprises a movable base, a movable fog gun and a water tank, the movable fog gun is detachably connected to the movable base, and the water tank is arranged in the movable base; a sliding rail and a control box are arranged on the movable base, the fog gun is arranged in the sliding rail through a rotating base, the rotating base has the function of rotating around the circle center of the rotating base, the fog gun is connected with the rotating base through a connecting base, the angle between the connecting base and the rotating base can be adjusted, and then the vertical angle of a gun muzzle is adjusted.
[006] Therefore, in order to address the problems prevalent in the prior art there is a need for a dust catcher.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
[007] Some of the objects of the present disclosure, which at least one embodiment herein satisfies, are as follows.
[008] The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art by providing a dust catcher as an advanced spray droplets generator using rotary atomization for the spraying of a wide range of liquids for humidification, cooling, dust control, cold fogging and other processes.
[009] An object of the present invention is to provide the dust catcher, wherein as the spray droplets size is determined by the humidifier rotational speed, the variable speed drive can be adjustable to give the optimum droplet size for a wide range of applications.
[010] Another object of the present invention is to provide the dust catcher which is designed for use with water, solutions of deodorizing chemicals and similar liquids in a wide range of applications.
[011] Another object of the present invention is to provide the dust catcher, wherein the narrow droplet spectrum ensures that the maximum amount of liquid is sprayed as droplets of the optimum size and minimizes wastage or contamination from excessively large droplets.
[012] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the dust catcher that uses a unique rotating woven wire gauze cylinder that produces spray droplets with a narrow spectrum of sizes over a wide range of flow rates from a few milliliters/minutes to 10 liters/minutes.
[013] Other objects and advantages of the present disclosure will be more apparent from the following description, which is not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
[014] The present invention provides a dust catcher that includes a blower comprising an impeller and a high-speed rotating mechanism that produces thrust in order to travel water mist particles; a humidifier comprises a special high speed three phase induction motor with a water intake system and a rotating mesh ring provided with a mesh cover; a pump provided with a water inlet line and a solenoid valve; an electrical panel comprises AC VFD drives for humidifier and blower separately; an AC - DC converter for DC operations, and an enclosure made up of sheet metal; and a rotating mechanism comprises a worm gear gearbox and DC geared motor which is mounted on a worm gear gearbox arrangement (slew drive).
[015] The blower consists of a high-performance impeller and a three-phase inductive motor mechanism that can produce enough thrust so that the water mist particles can travel up to the distance of 10 – 20 meters. with adjustable motor speed control so that the coverage area can be adjustable. With lower rpms the coverage width in standing position increases than in full rpm. At full rpm it can reach maximum distance with narrow coverage. The maximum rpm of blower motor is around 1450 rpm. At this rpm the thrust created will help the mist particles to reach up to 20 meters.
[016] The humidifier is an arrangement consist of a special high speed three phase induction motor with a water intake system and a rotating mesh ring which in combination capable of producing mist particles of size nearby or less than 10 microns. To reach this size of water mist particles the special high speed three phase induction motor has to attain a speed of around 12,000 rpm and this is done with the help of a VFD AC drive. The working frequency of the motor is up to 180 Hz. The water inlet pressure is maximum 2 bar with discharge of 500ml – 10 liter per min. The mesh ring rotates at speed of 12,000 rpm which breaks the water particles to mist form of nearby or less than 10 microns.
[017] The rotating mechanism is a combination of a worm gear gearbox and DC geared motor. The system is mounted on the worm gear gearbox arrangement (slew drive) and the DC geared motor is directly coupled with it. When the DC geared motor rotates it first it rotates the gearbox thus producing a horizontal rotating motion of unit. If we change the polarity of DC geared motor the direction of DC geared motor changes which also changes the direction of unit.
[018] The electrical panel is consisting of two number of AC VFD drives for humidifier and blower. The operating voltage of the electrical panel is three phase 415v, 50hz. The enclosure is made up of sheet metal with IP rating of IP65. The approximate power requirement of the system is 1 KW. There is a inbuilt AC - DC converter inside the electrical panel for DC operations.
[019] A high-speed rotating mechanism (12,000 rpm) breaks water particles into tiny mist droplets of nearby 10 microns with minimum intake of water (0.5 – 10 lpm) with maximum inlet pressure of 50-100 PSI. A blower fan mechanism is fitted behind which helps the mist droplets to travel up to 10 - 20 meters. There tiny mist droplets (nearly 10 microns) combine with dust particles and settle it down.

[029] The dust catcher is an advanced spray droplets generator using rotary atomization for the spraying of a wide range of liquids for humidification, cooling, dust control, cold fogging and other processes. The humidifier uses a unique rotating woven wire gauze cylinder that produces spray droplets with a narrow spectrum of sizes over a wide range of flow rates from a few milliliters/minutes to 10 liters/minutes. The narrow droplet spectrum ensures that the maximum amount of liquid is sprayed as droplets of the optimum size and minimizes wastage or contamination from excessively small or large droplets. As the spray droplets size is determined by the humidifier rotational speed, the variable speed drive can be adjustable to give the optimum droplet size for a wide range of applications. The direct drive Industrial humidifier are designed for use with water, solutions of deodorizing chemicals and similar liquids in a wide range of applications.
[030] Referring now to Figures 1-4, the present invention provides a dust catcher that includes a blower comprising an impeller and a high-speed rotating mechanism that produces thrust in order to travel water mist particles; a humidifier comprises a special high speed three phase induction motor with a water intake system and a rotating mesh ring provided with a mesh cover; a pump provided with a water inlet line and a solenoid valve; an electrical panel comprises AC VFD drives for humidifier and blower separately; an AC - DC converter for DC operations, and an enclosure made up of sheet metal; and a rotating mechanism comprises a worm gear gearbox and DC geared motor which is mounted on a worm gear gearbox arrangement (slew drive).
[031] The blower consists of a high-performance impeller and a three-phase inductive motor mechanism that can produce enough thrust so that the water mist particles can travel up to the distance of 10 – 20 meters. with adjustable motor speed control so that the coverage area can be adjustable. With lower rpms the coverage area in standing position increases than in full rpm. At full rpm it can reach maximum distance with narrow coverage. The maximum rpm of blower motor is around 1450 rpm. At this rpm the thrust created will help the mist particles to reach up to 20 meters.
[032] The humidifier is an arrangement consist of a special high speed three phase induction motor with a water intake system and a rotating mesh ring which in combination capable of producing mist particles of size nearby or less than 10 microns. To reach this size of water mist particles the special high speed three phase induction motor has to attain a speed of around 12,000 rpm and this is done with the help of a VFD AC drive. [033] The rotating mechanism is a combination of a worm gear gearbox and DC geared motor. The system is mounted on the worm gear gearbox arrangement (slew drive) and the DC geared motor is directly coupled with it. When the DC geared motor rotates it first it rotates the gearbox thus producing a horizontal rotating motion of unit. If we change the polarity of DC geared motor the direction of de geared motor changes which also changes the direction of unit.
[034] The electrical panel is consisting of two number of AC VFD drives for humidifier and blower. The operating voltage of the electrical panel is three phase 415v, 50hz. The enclosure is made up of sheet metal with IP rating of IP65. The approximate power requirement of the system is 1 KW. There is a inbuilt AC - DC converter inside the electrical panel for DC operations.
[035] A high-speed rotating mechanism (8,000 - 12,000 rpm) breaks water particles into tiny mist droplets of nearby 10 microns with minimum intake of water (0.5 – 10 lpm) with maximum inlet pressure of 50-100 PSI. A blower fan mechanism is fitted behind which helps the mist droplets to travel up to 10 - 20 meters. There tiny mist droplets (nearly 10 microns) combine with dust particles and settle it down.
[036] The high-speed rotating mechanism attains the speed of about 12,000 rpm by increasing the frequency up to 180 Hz with the help of AC VFD driven which enables the water particles to breaks into tiny mist droplets of nearby 10 microns. High performance blower fan within a hollow conical structure creates a thrust which can be adjustable helps these mist particles to travel to about 10 – 20 meters. With its horizontal rotation of 350 degrees the coverage area of the mist particles is around 1256 sqm(max.) and in standing position coverage area is 15 sqm. The rotating mechanism uses a DC geared motor with adjustable speed which enable to adjust the rotating speed according to operation. There is allow a vertical pitching mechanism which enables a machine to adjust the throw height and angle. It uses an electronic actuating mechanism.
OPEARTION:
[037] To start in manual mode, we need to first open the mesh cover of the humidifier; then start the pump operation by turning on the “PUMP ON” switch which also opens the solenoid valve attached at the inlet water line which enables the inlet water line to open and gives water supply to open. Then start the humidifier by switch ON the humidifier button ON followed by Blower ON. Now the operation started to rotate the Dust catcher to desired position rotates the FWD/RVR which to rotate in desired position as if directs the DC rotational motor to rotate clockwise/ counter clockwise direction which provides a rotary motion to Dust Catcher. For Auto Rotation of Dust Catcher set the Auto/ Manual switch to Auto and switch on the Auto rotation switch. To adjust the angle of throw in vertical position/ pitching a manual adjustment is provided, rotate the adjustment is provided, rotates the adjustment accordingly to adjust the angle/pitching.

EXISTING TECHNOLOGY CURRENT TECHNOLOGY
For dust suppression purposes to produce such micron-size water and compressed air in combination in required (Dry Fog). only water is required to get such a micron size.
The coverage area is also small nearly 1 sqm. The present invention has a throw range of 10-20 mtrs. with a coverage area of 1256 sqm. (MAX.)
Limited to closed areas or need. Suitable for closed as well as open space.
For repellent applications current technology requires many things petrol engine etc. and the solution also changes time to time and for slight changes it also requires a lot of changes in it. The solution needs to be changed rest system will be same.
[038] The proposed dust catcher can be used:
[039] In industries: For dust suppression of minute dust particles from crusher, hoppers area where the dust needs to be suppressed but the working area must not become wet with minimum moisture levels. Also, in hot ovens areas or hot closed areas where cooling is required, our invention provides optimum results.
[040] In Healthcare industries: The sanitization and repellent sprays need a ready to use in small area apparatus which our machine fits in. Our machine is ready to use with easy operating and not many things required.
[041] Agriculture: In agriculture the pesticides spray is as very challenging job and requires a lot of manpower for bigger piece of land but our machine makes this job easily done with less manpower. As the coverage area is more hence the spraying job is also done in small number of times.

Descriptions of well-known components and processing techniques are omitted so as to not unnecessarily obscure the embodiments herein.

1) A dust catcher as a spray droplets generator for spraying liquids for humidification, cooling, dust control, cold fogging and other processes, the dust catcher comprises:
- a blower comprising an impeller and a high-speed rotating mechanism that produces thrust in order to travel water mist particles;
- a humidifier comprises a special high speed three phase induction motor with a water intake system and a rotating mesh ring provided with a mesh cover;
- a pump provided with a water inlet line and a solenoid valve;
- an electrical panel comprises AC VFD drives for humidifier and blower separately; an AC - DC converter for DC operations, and an enclosure made up of sheet metal; and
- a rotating mechanism comprises a worm gear gearbox and DC geared motor which is mounted on a worm gear gearbox arrangement (slew drive).
2) The dust catcher as claimed in claim 1, wherein the dust catcher comprises a rotating woven wire gauze cylinder.
3) The dust catcher as claimed in claim 1, wherein the dust catcher comprises vertical pitching mechanism which enables a machine to adjust the throw height.
4) The dust catcher as claimed in claim 1, wherein the speed of the high-speed rotating mechanism is adjustable.
5) The dust catcher as claimed in claim 1, wherein the speed of the special high speed three phase induction motor is around 8000-12,000 rpm and working frequency is up to 180 Hz.
6) The dust catcher as claimed in claim 1, wherein water inlet pressure is 2 bar with discharge of 500ml – 10 liter per min.
7) The dust catcher as claimed in claim 1, wherein the mesh ring rotates at speed of 8000-12,000 rpm which breaks the water particles to mist form of nearby or less than 10 microns.
8) The dust catcher as claimed in claim 1, wherein when the DC geared motor rotates the gearbox first thereby produces a horizontal rotating motion of catcher and if a polarity of DC geared motor is changed direction of DC geared motor changes the direction catcher.
9) The dust catcher as claimed in claim 1, wherein the operating voltage of the electrical panel is three phase 415V, 50Hz and approximate power requirement of the system is 1KW.
10) A method for operating a dust catcher, the method comprises steps of:
- opening a mesh cover of a humidifier;
- starting a pump operation by turning on a “PUMP ON” switch which opens a solenoid valve attached at an inlet water line which enables the inlet water line to open and provides water supply;
- starting the humidifier by switching ON a humidifier button ON followed by a blower ON;
- for manual operation, directing a DC rotational motor to rotate clockwise/counter clockwise direction which provides a rotary motion to the dust catcher; or for auto rotation of the dust catcher, setting an auto/manual rotation switch to auto and switching ON the Auto rotation switch; and
- optionally comprises a step of adjusting an angle of throw in vertical position by rotating a manual adjustment accordingly.
