Abstract: A dust collection system (100) includes an airflow generator (102), a hopper tank (106), and a dust collection device (110). The airflow generator (102) is connected to an output source machine to receive a mixture of dust particles and granular material. The mixture from the airflow generator (102) travels through a feed tube (104) to the hopper tank (106). The dust particles in the mixture present in the hopper tank (106) are blown into the dust collection device (110) due to airflow from the airflow generator (102). The dust collection device (110) is attached and sealed at an upper part structure (108) of the hopper tank (106), which collects the dust particles from the mixture on a circumferential surface (212) thereof when the airflow is blown into the hopper tank (106).
Claims:1. A dust collection system (100) comprising:
airflow generator (102) connected with an output of a source machine to receive a mixture of dust particles and granular material;
a hopper tank (106) connected to the airflow generator (102) to receive the mixture along with an airflow from the airflow generator (102); and
a dust collection device (110) attached and sealed at an upper part structure (108) of the hopper tank (106), wherein the dust collection device (110) collects the dust particles from the mixture on a circumferential surface (212) thereof when the airflow is blown into the hopper tank (106).
2. The dust collection system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hopper tank (106) is connected to the airflow generator (102) through a feed tube (104).
3. The dust collection system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the dust collection device (110) comprises a hollow cylindrical collector (112) and a conical cover (114).
4. The dust collection system (100) as claimed in claim 3, wherein the hollow cylindrical collector (112) and the conical cover (114) are made of a material selected from a group of galvanized iron, metal, plastic, polymer, and a composition thereof.
5. The dust collection system (100) as claimed in claim 3, wherein the hollow cylinder collector (112) comprises a closed circular end (202) towards the hopper tank (106) and an open circular end (204) towards the conical cover (114), and wherein the closed circular end (202) is provided with a circular opening (206) that allows the dust particles to pass through the hollow cylindrical collector (112) when the airflow is blown into the hopper tank (106).
6. The dust collection system (100) as claimed in claim 5, wherein the hollow cylindrical collector (112) comprises an inner cylindrical wall (208) extending along the circular opening (106) and an outer cylindrical wall (210) extending along an outer circumference of the hollow cylindrical collector (112).
7. The dust collection system (100) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the inner cylindrical wall (208) and the outer cylindrical wall (210) encloses the circumferential surface (212) for collection of the dust particles in the hollow cylindrical collector (112).
8. The dust collection system (100) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the diameter of the conical cover (114) is less than the diameter of the outer cylindrical wall (210) of the hollow cylindrical collector (112), and the diameter of the conical cover (114) is more than the diameter of the inner cylindrical wall (208) of the hollow cylindrical collector (112).
9. The dust collection system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hopper tank (106) has a funnel-shaped bottom surface and a pipe (116) that hangs downward in a protruding shape.
10. The dust collection system (100) as claimed in claim 9, wherein the pipe (116) of the hopper tank (106) is connected downstream with a drum (118).
11. The dust collection system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the source machine is a recotrim machine, and wherein the granular material comprises plastic granules.
