Abstract: The user interface of a location-aware device (e.g., a wireless telephone) is intelligently altered/configured based on the current location of the device, movement of the device, and/or current date/time. The user interface is automatically changed by activating a specific function and/or displaying a specific set of menu items as a result of a combination of the device''s location and/or velocity and/or acceleration and/or direction of movement and/or current date/time
