Abstract: The present invention relates to a dynamically user assignable electronic locker system which has self ability to dynamically allocate a vacant locker to an authorized person. These lockers get allocated for a defined time slot and therefore one can be used by different persons in different time slots. Following invention described in detail with the help of figure 1 of sheet 1 which shows flow chart for the proposed invention.

DESCRIPTION

Technical field of invention:

[001] Present invention in general relates to the field electronics and more particularly relates to intelligent locker system which can be used by the members/employees of an organization.

Prior art:

There are now increased security needs in schools and commercial buildings. There is also a high degree of computer literacy among educators, and property managers. Furthermore, there is increasing use of ID cards, coded with intelligence for recording of activities As a result, there remains a need for an electronically controlled locker system for use. The following patents and patent applications relate to electronic lockers: U.S. Pat. Nos. 2,153,088 (J. Knell); 3,831,408 (Featherman); 5,219,386 (Kletzmaier et al.); 5,774,058 (Henry et al.); 6,064,316 (Glick, et al.); U.S. Patent Application No. US2001/0017507(Hara); and British Patent Application GB 2078845 (Kindborg).

Further CN105528687A discloses a locker system empty case distribution method. A user sends an empty case use request to a locker system. The locker system judges whether an empty case which is in accordance with a case use requirement exists or not according to the empty case use request. If so, the empty case is distributed to a current user, and if not, whether the user agrees to upgrade the case or not is judged. If the user agrees, the case is automatically upgraded to a case which is larger then the current case for one size as a current matched case, then an empty case with the upgraded case specification exists or not is judged, if not, the automatic upgrading of the case specification is continued and the existence of an empty case is judged, and the whole empty case distribution process is ended until an empty case is distributed or the distribution of empty cases is over. According to the method, other empty cases can be automatically upgraded and distributed, the success rate of appointment or delivery is improved, and the locker utilization rate of the locker is improved at the same time.

Another patent US6879243B1 discloses an electronically-controlled locker system that utilizes distributing processing to control access to, and assignment of, a plurality of lockers in a school, workplace, fitness center, etc. The system uses a plurality of locker control units that control access to a corresponding set of lockers based on user inputs and on user/locker authorization data that is provided from a central administrator workstation. This administrator workstation communicates with a system control unit that is in communication with every locker control unit and which allows cross-communication between locker control units.

US7113071B2 discloses an Intelligent locking system to access one of a plurality of lockers includes programming the system by recording at least one biometric characteristic of a user, storing the recorded biometric characteristic of the user in memory, and associating the recorded biometric characteristic of the user with one of the lockers so that the user is authorized to access the locker. The method also includes locking the locker, re-recording the biometric characteristic of the user, after the re-recording step, comparing the re-recorded biometric characteristic of the user with the recorded biometric characteristic of the user and unlocking the locker if the re-recorded biometric characteristic of the user matches the recorded biometric characteristic of the user. The system is newly reprogrammed for each subsequent user of the locker.

US8500012B2 discloses locker system using barcoded wristbands, A locker system includes one or more banks of electronic lockers. Each locker has a door lock that releasably retains the door in the closed position. The locker system also includes at least one barcode scanner selectively unlocks the door of at least one of the lockers. A locker manager is coupled to each of the electronic lockers via an electronic network. The locker manager stores a list of unique barcodes that are each associated with a locker rental plan including at least one locker account. Each locker account includes an activation indication, a use indication, a locker type indication, and a duration. The unique barcodes are printed or otherwise included on wristbands, which may be scanned at the barcode scanner to gain access to one or more of the lockers.

CN105006075B discloses a drawer batch system and batch administration pickup pickup administration method, administration pickup system comprises a batch lockers, intelligent terminal and the server, the intelligent terminal to communicate with a server via a network, the drawer server via a network communication, the server comprising a database server, the authentication server module, the server reservation module, the server module grid box information; human-machine interaction means comprises a drawer, a control unit and a plurality of grid box the control unit comprises a drawer authentication module, reservation module lockers, grid box information module drawer, locker module batch cast member, lockers bulk pickup module database and lockers; present invention achieve the bulk of the reservation lockers crate Drop batch and batch pick.

However, in view of the above, there still remains a need for an electronically-controlled locker system those electronic lockers which have self ability to dynamically allocate a vacant locker to an authorized person.

Objective of the invention:

[002] Primary object of the present invention is to provide smart electronic lockers which offer various options like RFID card reader, Magnetic card reader, Barcode, biometric reader, coins etc.

[003] Another object of the present invention is to provide electronic lockers which have self ability to dynamically allocate a vacant locker to an authorized person.

[004] Other objects, features and advantages will become apparent from detail description and appended claims to those skilled in art.

Summary of the invention:

Accordingly following invention provides dynamically user assignable electronic locker system which has self ability to dynamically allocate a vacant locker to an authorized person. The proposed system can be synchronized with access control/ attendance cards. These lockers get allocated for a defined time slot and therefore one can be used by different persons in different time slots.

Brief description of drawing:

[007] In order that the manner in which the above-cited and other advantages and objects of the invention are obtained, a more particular description of the invention briefly described above will be referred, which are illustrated in the appended drawing. Understanding that these drawing depict only typical embodiment of the invention and therefore not to be considered limiting on its scope, the invention will be described with additional specificity and details through the use of the accompanying drawing.

Detailed description of the invention:

[008] The present invention related to dynamically user assignable electronic locker system which has self ability to dynamically allocate a vacant locker to an authorized person. These proposed intelligent locker system can be used by the members/employees of an organization.

[009] The preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises of HMI based display panel, smart power distribution circuit, indentify reader, wire cover, leveler plate, bottom stiffener, electric assly plate, door hinge plate, LHS RHS shelf panel, back panel, top panel, RH separator panel, LH separator panel, PH side panel, LH side panel, bottom panel.

[0010] Basic peculiarity of this system is its ability to dynamically allocate a vacant locker to an authorized person. This reduces the need of lockers and thereby the space requirement. This allows access to authorized persons only.

[0011] These lockers get allocated for a defined time slot and therefore one can be used by different persons in different time slots. The proposed system can be integrated to the ERP, it has an administrator override option.

[0012] It can be offered in various options like RFID card reader, Magnetic card reader, Barcode, biometric reader, coins etc.

[0013] Herein the proposed invention hot allocation of lockers is based on RFID/ Chip card, Biometric, bar code label, it can be synchronized with access control/ attendance cards. It is having robust and strong body which is powder coated. Working or using of it is hassle free because of electronic control, no mechanical lock and hence elimination of keys.

[0014] Herein the proposed system allocated and un-allocated lockers are displayed on the screen of Main/Brain Unit. If all lockers are not allocated or if un-allocated lockers are available then Press Input Button and Swipe RFID/Chip card in front of the reader OR Press thumb on of the biometric sensor OR flash barcode in front of the barcode sensor.

[0015] Unallocated locker door will automatically open for the user and the particular locker gets dynamically allocated to that user. User can put his belongings inside the locker and close door. The locker will automatically lock.

[0016] In case user wants to partially withdraw material from his allocated locker then Press Input Button and Swipe RFID/Chip card in front of the reader OR Press thumb on of the biometric sensor OR flash barcode in front of the barcode sensor.
[0017] Remove partial contents and close door. The locker still remains allocated to the same user.

[0018] User can partially remove or add contents to his locker multiple times by pressing input button before using access control card/biometric/barcode.

[0019] When user wants to finally vacate the locker, Press Out button and Swipe RFID/Chip card in front of the reader OR Press thumb on of the biometric sensor OR flash barcode in front of the barcode sensor.

[0020] User then will have to remove his belongings and close door. Locker gets Un-allocated and is shown on the screen as available.

[0021] Additional advantages and modification will readily occur to those skilled in art. Therefore, the invention in its broader aspect is not limited to specific details and representative embodiments shown and described herein. Accordingly various modifications may be made without departing from the spirit or scope of the general invention concept as defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
,CLAIMS:We Claim:

1. A dynamically user assignable electronic locker system which has self ability to dynamically allocate a vacant locker to an authorized person, characterized in that; said system comprises of,

a HMI based display panel on which allocated and un-allocated are displayed,

a smart power distribution circuit for distribution of power,

a input button provided for selection or input, then unallocated locker door open for the user and the particular locker gets dynamically allocated to that user,

a RFID card reader provided to swipe RFID/ Chip card,

a biometric sensor is enabled for identifying thumb impression, and a barcode sensor for flashing the barcode;

2. The dynamically user assignable electronic locker system as claimed in claim 1 wherein user can partially remove or add contents to his locker multiple times by pressing input button before using access control card/biometric/barcode.

3. The dynamically user assignable electronic locker system as claimed in claim 1 wherein: if user wants to finally vacate the locker, Out button is provided and an swipe RFID/Chip card in front of the reader or press thumb on of the biometric sensor or flash barcode in front of the barcode sensor.

The dynamically user assignable electronic locker system as claimed in claim 1 wherein said system further comprises of a wire cover, a leveler plate, a bottom stiffener, a electric assly plate, a door hinge plate, a LHS RHS shelf panel, a back panel, a top panel, a RH separator panel, a LH separator panel, a PH side panel, a LH side panel, a bottom panel.

5. The dynamically user assignable electronic locker system as claimed in claim 1 wherein said system is integrated with Enterprise resource planning (ERP), lockers can allocated for a defined time slot and therefore one can be used by different persons in different time slots.

6. The dynamically user assignable electronic locker system as claimed in claim 1 wherein hot allocation of lockers is based on RFID/ Chip card, Biometric, bar code label, it can be synchronized with access control/ attendance cards.
