Abstract: In this method of invention graphene nano particles fused with different types of alumino silicates, sand and other zeolite type of materials used as raw material to produce a media that does not allow no other material other than pure water to filter through it. The preparation of graphene material from agro based inexpensive resources and fusing the same with chosen zeolite mixtures and making perforations of molecular level sieves is an important step involved. This material when used as filtration media layered on biodegradable plastic frames, ETP, STP, desalination needs can be addressed in low cost methods
1. Title of Invention
Effluent treatment, sewerage treatment and desaliniation using nano carbon materials.
3. Preamble to the description: Complete Specification: Summary:
In the summary of invention, each important salient feature is explained as follows:
1. In this method of invention, graphene synthesis is done using abundandly available agro based substances where pure carbon can be obtained by doing calcination.
2. The graphene synthesis can also be done apart from established methods another method Indian patent filed by same inventor bearing application no 2805/CHE/2010 dated 24/09/2010, C.B.Rno: 8448.
3. this graphene material will be mixed with nano particles of alumium silicates and also fused silica sand to prepare a filter media.
4. When this filter media is made like ultra filtration kind of cartridge or candles, when sewerge water, effluent water and saline water paased through them, pure water without salts (Low TDS) will be come out filtrate leaving impurities unfiltered.
5. Various types of zeolite substances, polyamide support systems and nylon mesh layers can be used to device this unique filtartion system.
4. Description
Water is a major solvent that dissolves many type of other chemicals. In the coming decades access to water for drinking, agriculture, irrigation and industrial uses is becoming an increasing challenge for people across the globe. The proper utilization and recycling of surface water though can address the requirement, due to the cost involved is allowing people to adapt desalination procedures also. Graphene material when mixed with some other nano composites sputtered over molecular sieves made up of aluminum silicates and other zeolites can produce water from effluent, sewerage and sea water in affordable cost. The present proposed system describes a method to produce such material which does not require high pressures like membranes.
Background of invention
Industrial wastewater treatment covers the mechanisms and processes used to treat waters that have been contaminated in some way by anthropogenic industrial or commercial activities prior to its release into the environment or its re-use.
Most industries produce some wet waste although recent trends in the developed world have been to minimise such production or recycle such waste within the production process. However, many industries remain dependent on processes that produce wastewaters.
6. Brief description of drawing:
• Graphene nano particles fused with different types of alumino silicates, sand and other zeolite type of materials used as raw material to produce a media that does not allow no other material other than pure water to filter through it.
• This media is packed between seves and wrapped arround a pipe with multiple holes on it to allow filterd water into the pipe
7. Claims
1. It is used to produce drinking water from sea.
2. It is used for industrial utility water requirements , irrigation requirments and other utility requirements.
3. This technique can also be used wherever rh % is more as a water maker machine from atmosphere.
4. Can Be used for recycling of affluent, sewerage and other type of disposed water where power cost can be controlled with some other means of power generation.
5. This System can be used for solvent recovery in industries.
