Electric Actuator

Abstract: This electric actuator comprises a normally and reversely rotatable electric motor and a motion conversion mechanism for converting the rotation of the electric motor to the reciprocating linear motion of a screw shaft, wherein the motion conversion mechanism comprises a nut rotationally driven by the electric motor and the screw shaft screwed and inserted into the nut in a back and forth movable manner. In the electric actuator, a lubricant holding portion having an outer diameter larger than the screw hole diameter of the nut and capable of housing a lubricant is formed in an end inner circumference of the nut in the axial direction and a lid member is provided that covers the opening end of the lubricant holding portion in the axial direction, thereby suppressing the abrasion of a screwing portion by sufficiently lubricating the screwing portion for the nut and the screw shaft and enabling to enhance the durability of the nut and the screw shaft.
