Abstract: This invention relates to an electric rickshaw with garbage tipper comprising a garbage tipper mounted on chassis of the rickshaw, wherein the garbage tipper includes a tipper frame supporting garbage bin which is actuated by means of hydraulic system. It gives rise the following advantageous features:- - Lighter in weight - Simple in structure - Environment friendly - Involves automatic and easy operation
FIELD OF INVENTION
[001] This invention is related to electric rickshaw with garbage tipper.

BACKGROUND/PRIOR ART
[002] Currently for garbage collection, vehicle goes door to door. So that, garbage from each house hold can be dumped in the garbage container of the vehicle.

[003] However, it consumes fuel such as diesel, petrol to operate. Further, it creates noise while running i.e. in dynamic condition
[004] In view of the above, an alternative is required to be devised which can address aforesaid issues of the prior art and at the same 15 time can serve the purpose effectively.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[005] An object of this invention is to propose electric rickshaw with 20 garbage tipper which obviates shortcomings of known art.
[006] Another object of this invention is to propose electric rickshaw with garbage tipper which is simple in design.

[007] Further object of the invention is to propose electric rickshaw with garbage tipper which does not need fuel for operation and also does not create noise in dynamic condition.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION 5
[008] According to this invention, there is provided an electric rickshaw with garbage tipper comprising a garbage tipper mounted on chassis of the rickshaw, wherein the garbage tipper includes a tipper frame supporting garbage bin which is actuated by means of 10 hydraulic system.
[009] The hydraulic system including hydraulic cylinder operates on the electric power, which is connected to a power pack drawing power from a plurality of batteries. 15
[0010] The garbage bin is opened and closed automatically with the help of a control switch at the driver’s seat.

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE 5 TO THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS:
[0012] The present invention makes a disclosure regarding automatic garbage tipper mounted on electric rickshaw for collection of garbage from various locations without polluting environment. This is due to 10 the fact that the electric rickshaw with garbage tipper is driven by a battery system.

[0014] In accordance with the present invention, there is provision of a garbage bin (1) mounted on a tipper frame (2) constituting garbage tipper to be placed on chassis of the rickshaw (3) an illustrated in the figure 1. The electric rickshaw with garbage tipper from rear can be best seen in the figure 2. 20
[0015] The garbage bin is connected to the hydraulic system (4) as illustrated in the figure 3.
[0016] Said garbage bin is actuated by means of hydraulic system 25 including hydraulic cylinder (4). So that the bin can be lifted as shown in figure 3 in order to dump the garbage at the disposal site and can also be lowered to put in its place as in fig. 1.

[0017] Now, reference may be made to figure 4. The vehicle is installed with a power pack (5) as indicated which receives energy from battery (B) to operate the entire hydraulic system including hydraulic cylinder as the hydraulic system runs on electric power.

[0018] Thus, the hydraulic lifting and lowering of the bin is achieved through hydraulic cylinder, which is operated by direct current supply received from the DC power pack which draws energy from a set of batteries installed on the electric vehicle.

[0019] The automatic garbage tipper is simple in structure and convenient to use and tipping can be achieved effectively. The garbage bin can be opened and closed automatically by operating the control switch (6) fitted at the driver’s seat. Hence, the tipping operation is achieved easily through the switch, which results in 15 elimination of manual garbage tipping.
[0020] The load body has one container for collection of Bio-degradable/Non bio-degradable waste and other material. Unloading of the garbage from the existing bin is carried out hydraulically. 20
[0021] When the vehicle is switched “ON”, the hydraulic power pack becomes active. Garbage bin is connected to hydraulic cylinder which is connected to DC power pack. The command given from the Driver’s seat through control switch (6) makes the hydraulic cylinder extend 25 and tilt the bin and again after receiving the command (from the driver’s seat)the hydraulic system retracts back and in turn, lowers the garbage bin and put it in its original position.

[0022] The traction of the vehicle is achieved by a DC Drive Motor which is connected to the rear wheels. A switch is provided below the accelerator handle to drive the vehicle forward and backward.
[0023] As the vehicle is driven by battery system, it does away with 5 the use of Diesel/Petrol Engine and renders the vehicle lighter in weight. Further, it is environment/sound pollution fee, hence environment friendly. Since the tipping is hydraulic, it climinates the problem of manual tipping.

WE CLAIM:
1. Electric rickshaw with garbage tipper comprising a garbage tipper mounted on chassis of the rickshaw, wherein the garbage tipper includes a tipper frame supporting garbage bin which is actuated by means of hydraulic system. 5
2. Electric rickshaw with garbage tipper as claimed in claim 1 wherein the hydraulic system including hydraulic cylinder operates on the electric power, which is connected to a power pack drawing 10 power from a plurality of batteries.
3. Electric rickshaw with garbage tipper as claimed in claim 1 or 2 wherein the garbage bin, lowering and lifting of which is carried out 15 by means of said hydraulic cylinder.
4. Electric rickshaw with garbage tipper as claimed in any of the preceding claims wherein the garbage bin is opened and closed 20 automatically with the help of a control switch at the driver’s seat.
5. Electric rickshaw with garbage tipper as claimed in any of the preceding claims is associated with the advantageous features such 25 as herein described.
