Abstract: An electric vehicle control device comprising a power conversion device (100) that is mounted on an electric vehicle, that receives supply of power from a power source (12), and that converts direct current power into alternating current power, a breaker (10) that that switches between application and cutoff of current which flows between the power source and the power conversion device, a first contactor (50) that is connected in series between the power conversion device and the breaker, and that is connected in series with a resistor (60), and a second contactor (70) that is connected in parallel with the resistor and the first contactor and that switches between application and cutoff of current that flows between the power conversion device and the power source, wherein when the power conversion device opens the second contactor, closes the breaker and the first contactor, and charges a capacitor (30) with power from the power source, in a case where an anomaly in the electric vehicle has been detected, the power conversion device closes the second contactor after performing control to open the breaker in order to cut off supply of power from the power source.
