Electrical Inter Connectors Assembly For Battery Management System

Abstract: ABSTRACT ELECTRICAL INTER-CONNECTORS ASSEMBLY FOR BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM An electrical interconnector assembly for a battery management system (BMS) (102) of an electric vehicle is disclosed. The assembly includes multiple interconnector blocks (400), each comprising a flange bolt (306), a conductive 5 block (308), an interconnector plate (310), and screws (312). The flange bolt (306) connects to a busbar (302, 304), while the conductive block (308) interfaces with a circuit board (104) of the BMS (102). The conductive block (308) has a recess (308-1) to accommodate the flange bolt (306) and a cavity (308-2) for the screws (312). The interconnector plate (310) is positioned at the bottom of the circuit board (104) 10 and has holes (310-1, 310-2) corresponding to the cavities (308-2) of the conductive block (308). The screws (312) secure the conductive block (308) to the circuit board (104) and provide electrical coupling of the busbar (302, 304) to the interconnector plate (310). The assembly provides an increased surface area of contact with the circuit board (104) and has a simple construction that eliminates the need of 15 additional operations, like press fitting of brass terminals for installing on the circuit board (104). 20 23
