DESC:TITLE: “Electrically Powered Kiosk Vehicle for Isolation”
FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present disclosure relates to a mechanism for isolation of the healthcare professionals and other individuals from the environment. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a mobile kiosk that is electrically powered for isolation of the healthcare professionals while treating the patients.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
COVID-19 pandemic has changed the scenario of providing health care treatments. Due to the sensitivity of virus transmission from one person to another, it has become mandatory to isolate the health care workers, enforcement officers or any individual staying nearby of COVID-19 patients. While there are many ways to isolate a COVID-19 patient from others, it is a challenge, today, to isolate a health care worker or an enforcement personal.
The existing methods of isolation involve the use of PPE kits, but these kits are susceptible to infection when comes to direct physical contact with an infected person.
Thus, while treating the patients, healthcare workers are susceptible to infections and pandemic diseases such as COVID-19. So, to prevent them from virus transmissions while treating the patients, the invention disclosed herein comes to play.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The object of the present disclosure is to provide a mechanism to isolate individuals from the external environment that involves dangerous microorganisms, atmospheric pollution particles and products of chemical reactions without compromising their work.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
One or more shortcomings of conventional systems are overcome and additional advantages are provided through the provision of a system disclosed in the present disclosure. Additional features and advantages are realized through the techniques of the present disclosure. Other embodiments and aspects of the disclosure are described in detail herein and are considered a part of the disclosure.
The present disclosure focuses on shielding individual while performing work. More specifically, the present disclosure provides an innovative solution that uses deep isolation elements such as sealed enclosure, inbuilt gloves, wheels, controller and chair mounted inside the sealed enclosure, with adjustable forward and backward direction movements.
The object of the invention is achieved by using an electrically powered kiosk vehicle
The kiosk vehicle includes a sealed enclosure confining an inner space of the vehicle, wherein the sealed enclosure is completely sealed to restrict any fluid transfer between the inner space, and the external environment. The kiosk vehicle comprises one or more glove ports, wherein the glove ports are openings made on the wall of the sealed enclosure so that the hand of the user can pass through it. Gloves are attached to the glove ports in such a way that gloves remain in a hanging position outside the sealed enclosure till the user inserts hands in it. The coupling of glove ports to the wall of the sealed enclosure and the gloves makes the sealed enclosure sealed with respect to the external environment for any fluid transfers. The user sitting inside the Kiosk vehicle can insert his/her hands in the gloves and perform the tasks.
According to one embodiment of the system, the sealed enclosure of the kiosk vehicle is built using a polycarbonate material. The polycarbonate material is transparent, durable and easy to cut and join. A user sitting inside the Kiosk vehicle can see through the transparent polycarbonate material. Also, the material is lightweight which reduces the overall weight of the kiosk vehicle.
According to another embodiment of the system, only a small section of the sealed enclosure is made of polycarbonate or any other transparent, sturdy material. The sealed enclosure can be made of two different materials.
According to another embodiment of the system, the kiosk vehicle comprises an air blower placed in coupling with the sealed enclosure to promote airflow inside the kiosk vehicle. A filter is placed in coupling with the air blower to filter the air entering into the sealed enclosure from the external environment. As the sealed enclosure is sealed for airflow, the user sitting inside it can experience suffocation hence to avoid this scenario the air blower and filter is installed that supply fresh air to the user.
According to yet another embodiment of the system, the gloves are made up of neoprene gasket material. This material fits snugly within the gaps between components, forms a fluid-tight seal. The neoprene gasket material exhibits good tensile strength and resistance to damage stemming from combustion, chemicals and abrasion. The glove ports are made of steel. The steel material has good strength, durability and it is light in weight, easily installable.
According to one embodiment of the system, wherein the glove port cut-out size is 140 mm.
According to another embodiment of the system, a controller is used to manoeuvre the vehicle. The controller comprises a joystick to change the speed and direction of the vehicle,
According to yet another embodiment of the system, the kiosk vehicle comprises a chair mounted inside the sealed enclosure so the user can sit on it; and adjusting means to move the chair in forward and backward directions.
The foregoing summary is illustrative only and is not intended to be in any way limiting. In addition to the illustrative aspects, embodiments, and features described above and further aspects will become apparent by referring to the drawings and the following description.
