Abstract: Disclosed is an electro-hydraulic converter for LP bypass system against steam turbine sets operating on low pressure governing, said electro-hydraulic converter comprising: a proportional valve (3), a plurality of Position transmitters (8) for control of opening & closing of LP bypass stop valves, LP bypass control valves and water injection valves; arrangement of two manifolds (1 & 2) to provide path of control oil/drain oil through Proportional valve (3) to above or below of Control piston (B) for controlling of its position; arrangement for mounting of said Position transmitters (8) and arrangement for transfer of movement of Control Piston (B) to Position transmitters with the help of Plate (11), Transmission rod (10), Plate (9) and Magnets (5), on the Hydraulic converter (A); and means to restrict/guide movement of Plate (9) with the help of guide rod (7) and support Rod (6), to enable movement in linear direction only to provide accurate measurement/feedback for position of Control Piston.
