Electrode Assembly And Battery, And Battery Pack And Vehicle Comprising Same
Abstract: Disclosed are an electrode assembly and a battery, and a battery pack and a vehicle comprising same. The electrode assembly has a first electrode, a second electrode and a separator interposed therebetween wound around one axis to define the core and the outer peripheral surface. At least one of the first electrode and the first electrode comprises an uncoated portion, passing the separator and exposed in the axial direction, on a long-side end part along the winding direction. At least one part of the uncoated portion is bent along the radial direction of the electrode assembly to define a bent surface area having overlapping layers of the uncoated portion. The bent surface area has a welding target area including a plurality of overlapping layers of the uncoated portion. A welding target line may extend in the radial direction of the electrode assembly.
