Abstract: An electrode assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator, wherein the positive electrode or the negative electrode comprises a coated portion coated with an electrode active material and an uncoated portion not coated with the electrode active material, and one of the positive electrode or negative electrode has a zigzag shape formed by bending a rectangular sheet having the coated portion and the uncoated portion alternately formed, and the other of the positive electrode or the negative electrode has a folder shape formed by bending a sheet including two coated portions with one uncoated portion therebetween, wherein electrode tabs of the electrodes having the zigzag form are formed in both directions, and electrode tabs of the electrodes having the folder shape are formed in one direction and disposed perpendicular to the electrode tabs formed in both directions.
