Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrode manufacturing apparatus, an electrode manufacturing method, and an electrode manufactured thereby, the electrode which: has enhanced ion conductivity by forming an ion path in a structurally forced manner in the electrode comprising a positive electrode or a negative electrode in a battery having a high capacity due to a high electrode density; may realize a high battery output by reducing tortuosity; and is stable since there is no physical change in an electrode current collector (foil) due to heat and the like during the output process. The electrode manufacturing apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a pattern forming tool for forming pattern grooves on the electrode comprising the electrode current collector and a coating portion formed by means of an electrode active material coated on at least one surface of the electrode current collector, the pattern forming tool forming the engraved pattern grooves on the coating portion by pressing the surface of the coating portion.
