Electromagnet Rotor Based Switched Reluctance Machine, System And A Method Thereof
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose an Electromagnet Rotor based Switched Reluctance Machine (ERSRM), system and method for controlling the ERSRM. The system (200) includes ERSRM (100), power converter circuit (220), and control circuit (250). The ERSRM includes an electromagnet rotor (110), stator (102), set of stator winding wound around plurality of stator teeth, rotor winding (114) wound around plurality of rotor teeth, a high-frequency primary winding (108) wound around plurality of stator teeth, a high-frequency secondary winding (116) wound around the plurality of rotor teeth, and a circuit (130) electrically connected to high-frequency secondary winding (116) and rotor winding (114). The power converter circuit (220) is electrically connected to ERSRM (100). The power converter circuit is configured to excite plurality of stator teeth based on an excitation sequence. The control circuit (250) is electrically connected to ERSRM (100) and the power converter circuit (220) for determining the excitation sequence.
