Abstract: Electromagnetic shuttle launcher is a system used to repel the shuttle or rocket or alike bodies to reach the outer space with the help of very strong electromagnets. The repulsion system is shown in figure 1. It consists of an inclined platform which is made up of four or more cylindrical bars (In this case I am considering four). Every single bar contains in it an iron bar core, on which copper wire is wound and is covered with a steel pipe and again a copper winding and again a steel pipe and so on (actually this could be done as many times as the repulsive power required) on the shuttle which is to be repelled, four conductors (electromagnets) are used, that are fixed on the outer body of the shuttle just opposite to the cylindrical bars.
TITLE OF INVENTION
ELECTROMAGNETIC SHUTTLE LAUNCHER
ABSTRACT

FIELD OF INVENTION AND USE OF INVENTION
This invention relates to an electromagnetic repulsing system that is used to.
launch or throw shuttles into the outer space from earth's surface or from any
other planet's surface or just from a Skylab like platform(for smaller pods, the
platform that can counter balance action-reaction forces). It consists of an
inclined platform which is made up of four or more cylindrical bars (In this
case I am considering four). Every single bar contains in it an iron bar core,
on which copper wire is wound and is covered with a steel pipe and again a
copper winding and again a steel pipe and so on (actually this could be done
as many times as the repulsive power required).On the shuttle which is to be
repelled, four(same number of electromagnets as that of number of
cylindrical conductors in platform) conductors (electromagnets) are used, that
are fixed on the outer body of the shuttle just opposite to the cylindrical bars.
Once the current is passed through these bars and the shuttle's conductors,
they get magnetized and creates a very strong field around it. Since the
conductors on the platform and shuttle are made magnetized in same
direction they starts repelling each other, since the platform is fixed the only
movable member is shuttle which starts accelerating in the direction along
the platform up to the length of the platform.
PRIOR ART AND PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED
(BACKGROUND)
The shuttles or alike are repelled by ejecting very large momentum of gases
through their exhaust systems and are repelled upward according to
newton's third law of motion (action of gases in downward direction causes a
reaction in the upward direction). Hence, the shuttle or alike moves upward
according to the thrust applied by the exhaust gases. Since, it requires fuel
such as (hydrogen, oxygen, propellant gases etc.) for its propulsion the
additional whole lot of mass (mass of fuels) is added to the shuttle which is
not needed for any useful task, but just to repel it into the space or to some
another planet, and also the pollutant gases are causing a huge damage to
our planet and to ozone layer too, which can cause a great havoc to our
green planet.
However, my given invention works on the theory of electromagnetic
repulsion it does not emit any polluting gases. And for making these
electromagnets, green electricity such as electricity from solar panels, etc.
could be used.
However my given invention is highly influenced by experiments done by
Andre ampere in 1820. He noticed that when current in two parallel
conductors is flowing in opposite directions the conductor repel each other.
This has been shown in the diagram 2.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The principal object of this invention is to repel a device (shuttle etc.) from
earth and from the planet's we haven't got yet. Suppose, we want to repel a
shuttle from mars (or other planets) with living beings (say humans) in it. But
the shuttle has run out of fuel, the fuel tank is empty, now they can't get out
from there, to earth or to some other planet where they could survive. But
with my invention, they can build a platform where they can put their shuttle
and can get enough repulsive power to reach the space, where they can get
drifted to some other planet where they could survive. The current required to
get the required repulsion can be taken from sun's energy with the help of
best solar cells and batteries available.
Another object of this invention is to save the fuels. About million of tons of
fuel has been used and they, have been keep on using it. My invention
remedy this problem and also this electromagnetic launcher reduces the
extra mass of the shuttle or alike, because it doesn't require any fuel and
extra fuel tank for propulsion. But it still needs some fuel in order to change
direction and to land onto planet's surface and for some other uses.
A further object of this invention is to reduce the pollution produced by
exhaust gases from the shuttle's engine. A high amount of pollution
production due to shuttle could be highly or completely (approximately)
reduced.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION .
The current carrying conductors are like rail lines, on these lines the shuttle is
put, (it can be assumed if there were a train carriage on rail lines) now the
current will pass from line C1 to line C2 shown in figure 1 through the shuttle.
The currents are passed through coils separately and through the steel pipes
separately i.e. currents passed through the coil of the conductor C1 up to its
whole length and same current is made to flow through the coil of conductor
C3.Same thing is done with conductors (electromagnets) C2 and C4.AII the
coils are magnetized first and then a separate amount of current is passed
through steel covering (pipe) which passes through clamp to the conductors
Ca,Cb,Cc,Cd on the shuttle, ie. the current given to steel pipe of conductor
C1 will pass through conductor Ca(consisting of coils, core), and then to
Cc(consisting of coils and core) and then to steel pipe of conductor C3,and
same procedure is followed for other conductors on platform and on the
shuttle . Now, conducting line C1 makes its own magnetic field. Since, from
steel pipe current is passed to shuttle's conductors (Ca,Cb,Cc,Cd etc. ) that
are mounted on the shuttle, this current will pass through these conductors
and makes it's own magnetic field.and the current will go to the line C2 and
makes its own magnetic field due to the alignment of domains. The field
produced by shuttle is same as between the rails. The rails are securely
fastened and can't move and the rails are made such that they do not
provide any obstacle and the least friction possible to the shuttle or alike
When massive amounts of current is passed through rails and shuttle. The
shuttle gets repelled due to the repulsive forces and keep on accelerating
upto the length of the rails till it leaves the rails C1, C2, C3 and C4.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
It was Andre ampere who first noticed that when current in two parallel
conductors is flowing in the opposite direction the conductors repel each
other. My invention uses the same principal in an efficient way and in great
efficiency. My invention (magnetic shuttle launcher) consists of four or more
conductors(cylindrical) C1, C2, C3 and C4 with iron core, on which a copper
wire is wound and again a cylindrical steel pipe is put onto it which exactly
and tightly (firmly), but not too tight, covers the lower coils with iron bar(coil
wound over an iron bar) (a solenoid) and again it is wound with copper wire
and again it is covered with a metallic(steel) pipe, the more these coils and
pipes are stronger will be the magnetic field produced. But for now we are
taking an iron bar, and a copper wire is wound on it and is wrapped with a
steel pipe. This could be understood by figure 3. Similar procedure is
followed on conductor C2, C3 and C4. And four or more conductors say C5,
C6, C7, C8 etc. can be placed above and below the shuttle or any other
object to be projected for more repulsion. On the outer body of the shuttle
four conductors are fixed (mounted) that are also coiled (and fixed.at
particular positions, which are exactly opposite to the rail conductors) to
make an electromagnet. These are four electromagnets(Ca,Cb,Cc,Cd) on
the shuttle which are mounted or fixed exactly opposite to the four rail
conductors(C1,C2,C3,C4). The conductors (C1,C2,C3,C4) are fixed rigidly
so that once they have activated do not get repelled themselves, but the
repulsive forces they produce must propel (repel) the shuttle and accelerate
5- it till it gets off from these conductors (C1 ,C2,C3,C4). The electromagnets
« Ca,Cb,Cc,Cd on the shuttle must produce magnetic field same as that of
| conductors (electromagnets) C1 ,C2,C3,C4. For example if C1 has a north
pole in the direction of shuttle's electromagnet say Ca, then Ca must have a
jg north pole towards C1. If C1 has a south pole towards the Ca then Ca must
have a south pole towards C1 to get the best results and better efficiency of
propulsion or repulsion. And same thing is done with the electromagnets C2,
| C3, C4 on the platform and Cb,Cc,Cd on the shuttle. Now, since the
conductors C1, C2, C3, and C4 are fixed rigidly with planet's surface by

some means, then the only movable member in the system is shuttle. Once
the current starts flowing in the conductors C1,C2,C3,C4,and the conductors
on the shuttle Ca Cb Cc and Cd. Due to the flow of current the domains of
the conductors (copper wire, the iron core bar and the steel pipe) get
magnetized and starts repelling the shuttle. The currents are passed through
coils separately and through steel pipes separately i.e. currents passed
through the coil of the conductor C1 up to its whole length and same current
is made to flow through the coil of conductor C3.same thing is done with C2
and C4. All the coils are magnetized first and then a separate amount of
current is passed through steel covering (pipe) which passes through clamp
to the conductors Ca,Cb,Cc,Cd on the shuttle.ie. the current given to steel
pipe of conductor C1 will pass through conductor Ca(consisting of coils,
core), and then to Cc(consisting of coils and core) and then to steel pipe of
conductor C3,and same procedure is followed for other conductors on
platform and on the shuttle. It should be noted that current is given
separately to coils of the conductors C1, C2, C3, and C4 and separately to
the steel coverings of these conductors. And current from these conductors
is given to the conductors on the shuttle (Current from steel covering of C1 is
given to conductors Ca and Cc of the shuttle and same current is given to the
steel pipe of C4.)
Since C1 ,C2,C3,C4 and Ca.Cb.Cc.Cd are making same poles opposite to
each they start repelling each other i.e C1 starts repelling Ca and Ca will
start repelling C1 with equal force, and other conductors start doing the
same. Since C1, C2, C3, C4 are rigidly fixed with the planet's surface. The
only movable member is the shuttle. Due to this repulsive force the shuttle
starts accelerating along the length of the conductors, C1, C2, C3, and C4.
Since the shuttle has to escape from planets gravitational pull and drag etc.
So it would (must) require greater repulsive forces to get away in the outer
space. So large amounts of currents are passed through the conductors C1,
C2, C3, C4 and through ,Ca,Cb,Cc,Cd. The base of the whole platform is
provided with some base material made up of insulators, so that the current
seeking minimum path couldn't get directly to earth. The coils in the rail
conductors are magnetized first and steel pipes on these coils and
conductors on the shuttle are magnetized afterwards (i.e. currents are
passed through the coils and then to the steel pipes). The current which is
passed through the steel pipe covering is passed through the conductors
Ca,Cb,Cc,Cd on the shuttle and will magnetized them and now it will start
accelerating along the length of the rail conductors C1,C2,C3,C4.For best
repulsion the current is passed from steel conductors to the conductors on
the shuttle(Ca,Cb) from a little down from top portion (upper portion) of the
shuttle's conductor and little up from down portion of the parallel shuttle's
conductors(Cc.Cd) for non-localization of the shuttle.
Since large currents are passed through these conductors. Heat produced
due to internal resistance might demagnetize or ever even melt these
conductors. So to remedy this a coil on core and wrapped with a steel pipe
and again coil and wrapped with a steel pipe and so on depending on our
required repulsion force to throw the rocket into the space could be used.
The main function coil on core and wrapped around by steel is to get the
required repulsive power/the heat removal is its by-product function.
Because more length of the conductor will produce less heat and other
method employed with this system is to use a coolant that runs over the
conductors to cool these conductors down. Also to take mechanical
advantage the platform constituting C1, C2, C3, and C4 is made up like a
simple machine called an inclined plane. That is the electromagnetic shuttle
launcher is an inclined plane. This inclined plane consists of conductors C1,
C2, C3, C4.C1 and C3 are parallel to each other, C2 &C4 are parallel to each
other. More conductors C5, C6, C7, and C8 and so on could be used to get
more and more and more power (repulsive forces)
On other planets, that do not have atmosphere. The repulsion system
requires less force because, it hasn't to supply force to overcome drag. But if
it is some bigger planet that has force of gravity many times as that of earth,
then it must have to supply a greater repulsive force. The electricity on these
planets can be taken from sun through solar panels or by other available
means such as if a planet has wind, sand etc. storm then a wind turbine
could be used to produce electric power and can be stored.
CLAIMS
1.1 claim, that, The current supplied to shuttle's conductors is sent through
jockey or clamp etc. just below from top of the shuttle's conductors (Ca.Cb)
and a little above from the lower part of the shuttle's conductors (Cc.Cd) in
order to stop localization of the shuttle, i.e. by doing so no need to push the
shuttle is required.
2. I claim that, Steel pipe is used, because it retains its magnetic properties
for some time after the current is shut off. So, when shuttle or alike just
leaves the platform at the end of conductor rail C1 ,C2,C3,C4 etc. the shuttle
will not get attracted by the rails.(because when shuttle just leaves the
surface of rail conductor, the platform will attract it, because now no force is
repelling the shuttle)
3. I claim that, an inclined platform at inclination of 48 degrees consisting of
conductors (electromagnets) for launching is made in order to achieve
mechanical advantage.
4. I claim that, Core, coil and steel pipe (and its repeated layers) system is
used in order to get more and more and more power.
5. I claim that, this could be used on earth as well as other planets efficiently
from sun's energy or storm energy (to produce electricity).
6. I claim that it can be used with any other propelling engine. On earth this
can be used with a rocket engine (The rocket engine is started at the height
where it appears that the shuttle propelled with electromagnetic shuttle
launcher could not go any higher or farther). It is then called a hybrid engine.
7. I claim that this system is used to propel automobiles and other vehicles.
