Electronic Identification System And Method For Generating Multi Carrier And Detecting Multi Carrier Devices

Abstract: An electronic identification system or reader for identifying different intelligent electronic devices such as smartcards or RFID tags. The system is capable of identifying devices operating at different values of carrier frequency. This is done by the automatic generation of a range of carrier frequency waves within the electronic identification system. The intelligent electronic device is interrogated for each carrier frequency waveform and the response is checked for validity.
