Electronic Key System And Control Device For Mobile Body

Abstract: This electronic key system is provided with: a control device for permitting start up of a mobile body on the basis of an identification signal from an electronic key being carried by a user of the mobile body; and an information terminal carried by the user. The control device determines on the basis of the reception condition of the identification signal whether or not the user has lost the electronic key while the mobile body was in motion transmits a loss notice to the information terminal if the user did lose the electronic key and permits start up of the mobile body when an exclusion instruction to exclude reception of an identification signal from conditions for permitting start up of the mobile body has been received from the information terminal. The information terminal issues on the basis of the loss notice from the control device an alert regarding the loss of the electronic key to the user and transmits the exclusion instruction to the control device on the basis of an operation performed by the user.
