Electronic Shifter With Cable Shift Mechanism For Mechanical Shifting
Abstract: This Transmission shifter is a unique integration of electronic shifting with cable shifting mechanism. The shifter acquire details of all the shift positions either it is in pure electronic shifting mode or cable shift actuation mode and provide feedback to the ECU. Here contact type rotary sensor senses single axis the shift position. Unintentional shift is locked by the lock pin. And the detent in leaf spring type arrangement follows the detent plate to provide necessary shift feel. The cam lever pin traces the slot in the cam lever to actuate the cable shift mechanism only when required to shift gear. This intern actuates gear shifting cable, the electronic feedback is sent to the ECU with the aid of position sensor.
