Electronic Vote Registering Method And Electronic Vote Registering Machine

Abstract: An electronic vote-registering method and electronic vote-registering device authenticate the voter to register his or her vote. The device authenticates the registered voter’s right to vote based on his or her face recognition. Then allow voter to cast his or her vote on the electronic ballot, which is enabled after face detection. The voter's vote will be taken into account for counting only if his or her fingerprint is also authenticated with the help of the fingerprint scanner placed on the electronic ballot in front of each opinion for which he or she casts their vote. Once voting is completed, the voter will get a message or confirmation on his or her registered mobile phone related to the vote he or she cast.

Specification

Description:The embodiment disclosed in Figures 1 and 2 is intended to register the electronic vote of a voter. The electronic vote registering machine 100 shown in Figure 1 is an electronic device used to register the electronic vote of a user. A camera 103 connected to the device 100 captures the face of the user. The machine 100 is powered through power cable 104. An electronic ballot sheet consists of opinion options displayed on it. A fingerprint scanner 105 is placed beside the electronic ballot sheet 106 one in front of each opinion. USB port 102 is provided as an option to communicate with data stored in the machine 100.
The block schematic shown in Figure 2 comprises face recognition unit 203 and fingerprint sensor unit 204, I/O control unit 205, memory unit 207, and processing unit 206. The sensor units 203 and 204 are coupled to the processing unit 206 housed inside machine 100. A face picture captured by 103 is fed to face recognition unit 203, shown in Figure 2, which is embodied inside the machine 100. The face recognition unit 203 converts the image captured into digital data, which is compared with the UIDAI database 201. The UIDAI database 201 is accessed through LAN port 101 and fed to processing unit 206. The processing unit 206 accesses the application stored in memory unit 207 to perform the comparison between the scanned image and the database image. Once the image is authenticated, the electronic ballot sheet 106 and fingerprint sensor unit 204 are enabled.
The finger sensor unit 204 consists of multiple fingerprint scanners 105 placed on the upper surface of the electronic vote-registering machine 100. The user has to register his or her vote using a fingerprint scanner 105 placed beside the electronic ballot sheet 106. The electronic ballot sheet 106 consists of a list of opinions for which the user has to cast his or her vote. The fingerprint scanner 105 captures the fingerprint of the user and is accessed by sensor unit 204. The finger print sensor unit 204 converts the image into digital format and stores it in the memory for processing. The data stored in memory 207 is processed by processing unit 206 to compare with the UIDAI database 201 via a LAN port through internetworking. The processed digital data is fed to machine learning and testing models in memory unit 207 and executed through processing unit 206. Machine learning focuses on accessing the database data for specific categories of users and comparing it with the fingerprint data; once the fingerprint data is matched, the vote of the user will be registered. The registered vote will be stored in memory unit 207, and a confirmation message will be sent to the registered mobile phone through IOT. This assures the user of his/her opinion of the vote cast. , Claims:I/We Claim:
1. An electronic voting method comprising:
an electronic vote-registering machine;
a face recognition sensor identifying:
a person registering to vote to enable the electronic vote-registering machine.
2. An electronic vote-registering machine claimed in 1, further comprising:
an electronic ballot module wherein:
a fingerprint sensor mounted on the upper surface of the module and placed beside the opinion list:
the fingerprint sensor output data is verified with the UIDAI database;
a control unit coupled to a processor with the help of machine learning tools and internetworking communicates:
to users for confirmation of the vote the user has casted.
