Abstract: The present invention pertains to an elevator car door lock device that does not require the addition of a part on a landing side and does not affect the door opening/closing performance. A car door lock hook (1) which constitutes the car door lock device is connected to a belt (6) of a door driving device (36 37 38 6). When a car door (34) is driven in an opening direction by the door driving device (36 37 38 6) the car door lock hook (1) is unlocked by the belt (6) that is driven. In accordance with the unlocking of the car door lock hook (1) horizontal direction movement of a door stop side engaging element (10) is stopped by a link mechanism (19). On the other hand when a door opening force is applied to the car door (34) without using the door driving device (36 37 38 6) the door stop side engaging element (10) provided to the car door (34) is pushed by a door engaging element (9 13) provided to a landing door and moves in the horizontal direction to contact the car door lock hook (1) thereby unlocking the car door lock hook.

of a hall floor, to prevent the car door from being forcibly
15 opened manually from the inside of the car, the car and the
car door are provided with a car door lock device.

Regarding the car door lock device, a technique
described in Patent Literature 1 is known. In the technique,
20 when the car door is closed, a stationary hook fixed to a
door hanger and a movable hook rotatably attached to the car
are engaged with each other. With this engagement, even
when a person tries to manually open the car door from the
inside of the car in the position out of the hall floor, the
25 person cannot open the car door.

When the car is stopped in a hall floor position, the
movable hook is rotated with a link mechanism, interlocked
with a car door opening operation, upon start of the car
door opening operation. With this operation, 5 the engagement
between the movable hook and the stationary hook is released.
The link mechanism has plural hinge-connected arm members
and rollers attached to ends of the arm members. In a
situation where the car is stopped in the hall floor
10 position, upon start of the car door opening operation, when
the roller comes into contact with a landing vane fixedly
attached to a landing zone in a hoistway, the link mechanism
operates, to release the engagement between the movable hook
and the stationary hook. On the other hand, in the position
15 out of the hall floor, even though a person tries to
manually open the car door from the inside of the car, the
link mechanism does not operate since there is no member
like the landing vane with which the roller comes into
contact within the hoistway. The engagement between the
20 movable hook and the stationary hook is held.

In the above-described conventional car door lock
device, it is necessary to provide a landing vane on the
landing side. Adjustment is required 5 to keep a constant
distance between the landing vane to the rollers of the link
mechanism and other members provided on the car door so as
to avoid contact with these members when the car moves
upward or downward in the hoistway. Accordingly, there is a
10 problem that the number of steps and time necessary for
installation and maintenance of the elevator increase.

Accordingly, the present invention provides an
elevator car door lock device which eliminates the necessity
15 to provide a new part or member for car door locking on the
landing side in the hoistway and which does not influence
normal door opening/closing performance, and an elevator
door device having the car door lock device.

door lock device according to the present invention is an
elevator car door lock device, comprising a car door lock
hook provided in a car door, that becomes into a locked

According to the present invention, since the car door
lock device operates with the belt of the door driving
device and the door engaging element provided on the landing
door, it is not necessary to provide a new part or member
for car door locking on the landing side. 5 Further, since a
lateral motion of the doorstop side engaging element is
prevented in linkage with unlocking of the car door lock
hook, the influence on the normal door opening/closing
performance is small. The influence on the normal door
10 opening/closing performance is nothing.

The elevator car door in Fig. 8 is a center open type
in which two car doors 34 are opened/closed in mutually
opposite directions. A door hanger 33 is provided above the
car door 34. A roller 39 is rotatably attached to the door
hanger 33. The roller 9 is guided with 5 a door rail 32 fixed
to the car. The door rail 32 is attached to a door machine
frame which is not shown in Fig. 8. Further, an unshown
door shoe is provided at a lower end of the car door 34.
The door shoe is guided with a doorsill groove provided in

In Fig. 8, the door driving device has a motor 36
fixed to the car, a drive pulley 37 attached to the motor 36
and rotate-driven with the motor 36, a driven pulley 38
15 rotatably attached to the car, and an endless-shaped belt 6

The belt 6 is extended in a direction parallel to the door
rail 32, and has upper and lower long parts. One end of the
door connecting fitting 31 and a part of the car door lock

belt 6. The other end of the door connecting fitting
31 and the car door lock device are fixed to the door hanger

belt, to which the door connecting fitting 31 and a part of
the car door lock device are fixed, are driven in mutually
opposite directions. The two car doors 5 34 are open/close
driven in mutually opposite left and right directions while

of the doorsill 35.

is provided on the door hanger 34 in a region A surrounded
by a broken line in the figure. When the car door 34 is in
a closed status as shown in Fig. 8, the car door 34 is in a
locked status with the car door lock device. When the car

device, the car door lock device releases the locked status,
to enable normal door opening operation with the door
driving device. Further, when the car is positioned out of

device has a doorstop side engaging element (Fig. 2) and a

A car door lock hook 1 is rotatably installed on an
engaging base 2. The engaging base 2 is fixed to a car door

to the door hanger 34.

The fixed roller 13 (indicated with a broken line in
the figure) is rotatably fixed 5 to the landing door
opposing to the car door part 3. As described above, the
fixed roller 13 functions as a door engaging element, and
further, is involved in the operation of the car door lock
device. Further, the movable roller 9 (indicated with a

engaging element, is provided on the landing door and is
involved in the operation of the car door lock device, as
in the case of the fixed roller 13, and further, serves as

roller 9, when is engaged with the car door, upon start of
the door opening operation, rotates counterclockwise in
Fig. 1 from an initial position in the landing door with

13. With this configuration, the landing door hook
rotates along with the movable roller 9, becomes from the
locked status to the unlocked status.

regarding the movable roller 9 and the fixed roller 13,
the operation and the function related 5 to the car door
lock device will be described, and the description and
illustration of the function and the operation as the
landing door lock device will be omitted.

First, an example where the car is not positioned in

As shown in Fig. 1, when the car door including the
car door part 3 is at a closed end, the car door lock hook 1

Accordingly, even when a door opening force is forcibly
applied to the car door 3 manually from the inside of the
car without the door driving device, the car door 3 is not

Next, an example where the car is positioned in the
door openable zone will be described.

Fig. 2 shows the status of the 5 car door lock device
when the belt 6 is drive-started with the motor 36 (Fig. 8)
in a door opening direction (the leftward direction in the
figure). When the belt 6 is drive-started in the door
opening direction, the car door lock hook 1 connected to the
10 belt 6 rotates counterclockwise in the figure with respect
to the engaging base 2. With this configuration, the car
door lock hook 1 comes off the claw 5, and the status
becomes an unlocked status.

15 Note that an end of a horizontal part of the car door
lock hook 1 is connected to the belt 6. That is, the car
door is connected to the belt 6 via the car door lock hook 1
as a part of the car door lock device. With this
configuration, the driving force of the belt of the door

to the car door. Further, the car door lock hook 1 has a
vertical part extending downward from the other end of the
above-described horizontal part. An approximately central
part of the vertical part is rotatably supported in the

In this manner, when the car door is driven in the
door opening direction with the belt 6 of the door driving
device while the car is positioned in the door openable zone,

relatively to the car door even though it comes into contact
with the movable roller 9, but the car door and the landing

opening/closing directions between the car door and the
20 landing door, even with the car door lock device, is the

which prevents a slow motion of the car door in the vicinity
of the closed end due to prior closing of the landing door

Fig. 3 shows the status of the car door lock device
when the car door lock hook 1 is unlocked by forcibly
opening the car door manually from the inside of the car
without the door driving device while 5 the car is positioned
in the door openable zone. When the door opening force is
applied to the car door 3, the doorstop side engaging
element 10 comes into contact with the movable roller 9.
When the movable roller 9 comes into contact with the
10 doorstop side engaging element 10, the doorstop side
engaging element 10 moves from the position shown in Fig. 1
to the doorstop side with respect to the engaging base 2,
and comes into contact with a car door lock roller 12
rotatably attached to the appropriately central part of the
15 vertical part of the car door lock hook 1. With this
configuration, the car door lock hook 1 rotates
counterclockwise in Fig. 3, to come off the claw 5, and
becomes into the unlocked status. Accordingly, the car door
becomes openable.

Fig. 4 shows the status of the car door lock device
when the car door lock hook 1 is unlocked by manually
opening the landing door from the landing without the door
driving device while the car is positioned in the door
25 openable zone. When the door opening force is applied to

the landing door, the fixed roller 13 fixed to the landing
door comes into contact with the door pocket side engaging
element 14. The door pocket side engaging element 14 is
supported in the engaging base 2 movably via door pocket
side engaging links 15a and 15b 5 in the leftward and
rightward directions and in the upward and downward
directions in the figure. The upper half part of the door
pocket side engaging element 14, i.e., a part in the
vicinity of the horizontal part of the car door lock hook 1
10 is provided with an unlock hook 16, engaged with an unlock

horizontal part of the car door lock hook 1, to unlock the
car door lock hook 1. When the fixed roller 13 comes into
contact with the door pocket side engaging element 14 and

part of the unlock hook 16, the car door lock hook 1 rotates
counterclockwise in Fig. 4 with respect to the engaging base
2. With this configuration, as the car door lock hook 1
comes off the claw 5 and comes into the unlocked status, the
20 car door 3 and the landing door become openable.

As shown in Fig. 4, a roller 25 is rotatably attached
to an upper end of the door pocket side engaging element 14.
Further, a cam 26 is fixed to the car, or the door machine
25 frame (4 in Fig. 1) in the present embodiment, and the

roller 25 comes into contact with an upper surface of the
cam 26. As the door pocket side engaging element 14 has
door pocket side engaging links 15a and 15b, upon normal
door opening with the door driving device, the roller 25
moves from an upper part to a lower part 5 of the cam 26 while

engaging element 14 moves downward. Accordingly, the unlock
hook 16 also moves downward, and the car door lock hook 1 in
the unlocked status is supported with the unlock hook 16.

Fig. 5 is a block diagram showing an electrical
circuitry of the door driving device in the present
embodiment. The motor 36 of the door driving device is
15 rotate-driven with an alternating current outputted from an
inverter 41. The inverter 41 converts electric power of a
power source 42 (direct current power source) into
alternating electric power, and outputs the power to the
motor 36. A door control circuit 43 controls the inverter
20 41 to rotate and stop the motor 36 in correspondence with
opening/closing of the car door and the landing door. The
inverter 41 is connected via a circuit breaker 44 to the
power source 42. The circuit breaker 44 is closed at normal
time. When an abnormal operation of the door driving device
25 is detected based on detection results from a current

detection device 45 to detect an electric current flowing
through the motor and a landing position detector 46 to
detect the position of the car, the circuit breaker is
opened. When the circuit breaker 44 is opened, as electric
power supply from the power source 42 5 to the inverter 41 is
cut off, the motor 36 stops, and the door opening operation
of the door driving device is stopped. Note that in the
present embodiment, the detection of abnormal operation and
the open/close control of the circuit breaker 44 are
10 performed with the door control circuit 43, and further, may
be performed with any other control circuit.

Fig. 6 is a flowchart showing an abnormality
determination operation of the door driving device in Fig. 5.
15 When the determination operation is started, first, based on
a detection signal from the landing position detector 6, it
is determined whether or not the car is positioned in the
door unlock zone, i.e., whether or not the car is positioned
in the door openable zone in the vicinity of the landing
20 (step S1). When it is determined that the car is positioned
in the unlock zone (Y at step S1), it is determined that
there is no abnormality in the operation of the door driving
device (step S4). When the car is not positioned in the
door unlock zone (N at step S1), next, based on a detection
25 signal from the current detection device 45, it is

determined whether or not an electric current has flown in
the direction of the door opening operation of the motor 36
(step S2). When it is determined that the electric current
has flown in the door opening direction (Y at step S2), i.e.,
when the unlocking operation of the car 5 door lock hook 1 has
been detected, the electric power supply circuit from the
power source 42 to the inverter is cut off (step S3). At
this time, the door control circuit 43 open-controls the
circuit breaker 44 provided between the power source 42 and
10 the inverter 41. With this configuration, the inverter 41
stops, and the electric power supply to the motor is stopped,
and the opening of the car door is prevented. When it is
determined that the electric current does not flow in the
door opening direction (N at step S2), it is determined that
15 there is no abnormality in the operation of the door driving
device (step S4).

Fig. 7 shows the car door lock device as a
modification to the above-described embodiment. In the
20 present modification, different from the above-described
embodiment, a lock switch 21 is provided on the car door
lock hook 1. Note that in the present modification, the
current detection device shown in Fig. 5 is not required.
In a case where the car is not positioned in the door unlock
25 zone, i.e., positioned out of the door openable zone, when

the door opening operation is started with the door driving
device, and the car lock hook 1 starts to move in the
unlocking direction, the lock switch 21 operates. When the
door control circuit 43 (Fig. 5) detects this operation of
the lock switch 21, it open-controls the 5 circuit breaker 44
(Fig. 5). With this configuration, with this configuration,
the inverter 41 (Fig. 5) stops, the electric power supply to
the motor is stopped, and the opening of the car door is
prevented.

Note that the present invention is not limited to the
above-described embodiment and its modification, but
includes other various modifications. For example, the
above-described embodiment has been described in detail for
15 explaining the present invention in a comprehensible manner.
The invention is not limited to an embodiment having all the
described constituent elements. Further, regarding a part
of the constituent elements of the embodiment, it is
possible to perform addition/deletion/replacement with

motion of the doorstop side engaging element in the lateral

Claim 9
An elevator door device comprising:
a landing door provided in a landing;
a car door provided in a car;
15 a door driving device that open/close drives the car
door by driving an endless-shaped belt connected to the car
door;
a door engaging element provided in the landing door;
a doorstop side engaging element provided in the car
20 door, that is engaged with the door engaging element when
the car is positioned in a door openable zone; and
a car door lock hook provided in the car door that
becomes into a locked status by engagement with a claw fixed
to the car,

wherein the landing door is opened/closed along with
the car door by open/close driving of the car door with the
door driving device in a status where the door engaging
element and the doorstop side engaging element are engaged
5 with each other,
the car door lock hook is connected to the belt,
when the car door is driven in an opening direction
with the door driving device, the car door lock hook is
unlocked with the driven belt,
10 when a door opening force is applied to the car door
without the door driving device, the car door lock hook is
unlocked by movement of the doorstop side engaging element,
pushed with the door engaging element, in a lateral
direction, into contact with the car door lock hook, and
15 the elevator door device further comprises a link
mechanism that, when the car door is driven in the opening
direction with the door driving device,
prevents a motion of the doorstop side engaging element in
the lateral direction in linkage with unlocking of the car
20 door lock hook.
