DESCRIPTION
Title of Invention: ELEVATOR LANDING DOOR DEVICE
Technical Field
[0001]
The present invention relates to an elevator landing door
device, and more particularly relates to a fire-resistant
structure for a landing door of an elevator.
Background Art
[0002]
In an elevator landing door device as a fire-resistant
structure for a landing door of an elevator, a shiplap structure
is formed in door stop parts in order to prevent heated smoke
from passing through the door stop parts and flowing into a
hoistway from a landing hall in case of fire. As a
fire-resistant structure for a landing door of an elevator,
proposed is a structure in which door covers formed separately
from landing doors are provided in door stop parts of the landing
doors, a protrusion and a recess are provided respectively in
cross sections of the door covers opposed to each other, and
the protrusion and the recess are fitted to be brought into
intimate contact when a door stop rubber is dissolved to
disappear due to fire, as described in Japanese Patent
Application Laid-Open No. 11-11840 (PTL 1).

Summary of Invention
Technical Problem
[0004]
A door cover described in PTL 1 has a cross section in
an opened shape, and is configured so as to be fixed in a
cantilever manner in an opening/closing direction of a door.
Because of this, a shiplap structure easily collapses due to
thermal deformation and deformation into a serpentine shape in
a longitudinal direction of a door is likely to occur, so that
it is probable that sufficient fire-resistant performance
cannot be ensured.
[0005]
An object of the invention is to provide a landing door
of an elevator, which is not susceptible to thermal deformation
and can ensure sufficient fire-resistant performance with a
low-cost structure.
Solution to Problem
[0006]
In order to attain the above-described object, the
4
present invention is characterized in that a shiplap is formed
by door covers and cross sections of shiplap door covers have
closed shapes.
Advantageous Effects of Invention
[0007]
According to the present invention, shiplap door covers
have closed cross sections, so that a shiplap structure hardly
collapses due to thermal deformation and deformation into a
serpentine shape in a longitudinal direction of a door is
unlikely to occur. As a result of this, it is possible to ensure
sufficient fire-resistant performance with a low-cost
structure.
[0008]
Other problems, structures, and effects than described
above will be clarified by the following description of
preferred embodiments.
Brief Description of Drawings
[0009]
[FIG. 1] FIG. 1 is a front view of landing doors of an
elevator according to the present invention, when viewed from
a side of a landing hall.
[FIG. 2] FIG. 2 is a top view of landing doors of an
elevator according to the present invention.
5
[FIG. 3] FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view of door stop
parts of landing doors according to a first preferred embodiment
of the present invention.
[FIG. 4] FIG. 4 is a cross sectional view of door stop
parts of landing doors according to a second preferred
embodiment of the present invention.
Description of Embodiments
[0010]
Below, preferred embodiments of the present invention
will be described with reference to accompanying drawings.
First preferred embodiment
[0011]
A preferred embodiment of an elevator landing door device
according to the present invention will be described with
reference to FIGS. 1 to 3.
FIG. 1 is a front view of landing doors of an elevator
according to the present invention, when viewed from a side of
a landing hall, and FIG. 2 is a top view of landing doors of
an elevator according to the present invention. Door covers
are provided on a hoistway side and in the vicinity of door stop
parts of both of sliding doors which open and close a doorway
of a landing hall of an elevator. More specifically, as shown
in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, elevator landing doors 1L and 1R include
shiplap door covers 2L and 2R which form a shiplap. A left
6
elevator-car door 11L and a right elevator-car door 11R are
provided on a side of an elevator car 10.
[0012]
FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view (horizontal cross
sectional view) of door stop parts of landing doors according
to the first preferred embodiment.
Generally, a shiplap is a structure provided by one of
ways of joining plates, in which each of plates is cut out by
a half of a thickness thereof and the resultant plates are joined
together. A shiplap is also called a “straight scarf joint”.
A shiplap structure in door stop parts of landing doors is
designed such that a shiplap is formed in the door stop parts
by the landing door 1L to which the shiplap door cover 2L is
fixed and the landing door 1R to which the shiplap door cover
2R is fixed when the door stop parts touch each other, as shown
in FIG. 3. In order to form such a shiplap, a door cover fixed
to one of landing doors is provided so as to protrude toward
a side of the other of the landing doors, and a door cover fixed
to the other of the landing doors is provided so as to recede
by a dimension of protrusion of the door cover fixed to the one
of the landing doors. According to the first preferred
embodiment, the right shiplap door cover 2R and the left shiplap
door cover 2L are provided in the landing doors, respectively,
such that the right shiplap door cover 2R protrudes toward a
side of the left landing door 1L and the left shiplap door cover
7
2L recedes.
Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the left shiplap door cover
2L includes a left shiplap plate 2LA for forming a shiplap, a
left reinforcing plate 2LB which is provided in order to allow
the left shiplap plate to have a closed cross section, and a
rivet 3 for fastening the left shiplap plate and the left
reinforcing plate. The left shiplap door cover 2L is fixed to
the left landing door 1L by a fixing bolt 4. The right shiplap
door cover 2R is configured in a manner similar to the left
shiplap door cover 2L.
[0013]
According to the first preferred embodiment, a shiplap
door cover has a closed cross section, so that a shiplap
structure hardly collapses due to thermal deformation and
deformation into a serpentine shape in a longitudinal direction
of a door is unlikely to occur. As a result, it is possible
to ensure sufficient fire-resistant performance with a low-cost
structure.
Second preferred embodiment
[0014]
A second preferred embodiment will be described with
reference to FIG. 4. According to the second preferred
embodiment, a protruding part 2LC for a left shiplap plate is
formed in the left shiplap plate 2LA, and a recessed part 2RC
for a right shiplap plate is formed in a right shiplap plate
8
2RA, as shown in FIG. 4. The protruding part 2LC for a left
shiplap plate and the recessed part 2RC for a right shiplap plate
are provided such that the protruding part 2LC for a left shiplap
plate is housed in the recessed part 2RC for a right shiplap
plate when door stop parts touch each other. The other respects
are the same as in the above-described first preferred
embodiment. The reason for formation of a protruding part in
the left shiplap plate 2LA in the second preferred embodiment
lies in preventing an increase in an opening amount of the left
and right landing doors 1L and 1R, considering that an opening
amount of the left and right landing doors 1L and 1R is constant.
More specifically, if a protruding part for a plate is formed
in the right shiplap door cover 2R, an edge of the shiplap door
cover 2R protrudes farther toward a side of the left landing
door 1L because the right shiplap door cover 2R protrudes toward
a side of the left landing door 1L. Thus, in order to prevent
the shiplap door cover 2R from being an obstacle to passengers
in getting on or off, it is necessary to increase an opening
amount of the left and right landing doors 1L and 1R. To avoid
such situation, it is preferable that a protruding part for a
plate is provided in a plate which forms a door cover on a side
opposite to a door cover which is caused to protrude in order
to form a shiplap (i.e., the left shiplap door cover 2L in the
second preferred embodiment).
[0015]
9
According to the second preferred embodiment, in which
a protrusion and a recess are formed, in addition to the same
effects as provided in the first preferred embodiment being
provided, inflow of smoke can be effectively avoided.
[0016]
It is noted that the present invention is not limited to
the above-described preferred embodiments, and various
modifications are included.
For example, the above-described preferred embodiments
are described in detail for the sake of clear explanation of
the present invention, and the present invention is not
necessarily limited to one including all of the structures
described above. Also, a part of a structure according to one
preferred embodiment can be replaced with a structure according
to another preferred embodiment, and further, a structure
according to one preferred embodiment can be added to a
structure according to another preferred embodiment. Moreover,
with respect to a part of a structure according to each of the
preferred embodiments, addition, removal, and replacement of
another structure are possible.
