Elevator Renewal Method

Abstract: An elevator renewal method wherein, a first segmented construction step among a series of segmented construction steps comprises: a step for installing a communication-type landing device in a landing; a step for installing a communication-type car device in a car; a step for installing a communication relay device and interconnecting the communication relay device and an old control panel; and a step for interconnecting the communication relay device and the communication-type landing device and interconnecting the communication relay device and a communication-type car device. After the first segmented construction step has concluded, the old control panel will be able to communicate with each of the communication-type landing device and the communication-type car device via the communication relay device.
