Abstract:
Disclosed are a time-varying LDPC-CC encoding method and an encoder with high error correction capacity. The encoding method encodes into low density parity check convolutional codes (LDPC-CC) of time-varying period q using a parity check polynomial of encoding rate (n-1)/n (n an integer greater than or equal to 2), wherein the aforementioned time-varying period q is a prime number greater than 3. An information series is used as an input, and the information series is encoded using formula (1) as the parity check polynomial for solving the g-th (g=0, 1,..., q-1) 0. "%" means modulo, and each coefficient fulfills the following for k = 1, 2,..., n-1.
