The following specification particularly describes and ascertains the nature of this invention and the manner in which it is to be performed:-
TECHNICAL FIELD
[001] The embodiments herein generally relate to energy absorber in vehicles and more particularly, but not exclusively to energy absorber in vehicles for protecting the front radiator assembly during low speed collision or impacts.

BACKGROUND
[002] A car body incorporates body energy absorbers such as bumper reinforcements and door beams. Energy absorber is the component present in front of the vehicle for absorbing energy during collision. The vehicle bumpers extend widthwise across the front and rear of a vehicle and are mounted to rails that extend in a lengthwise direction. Energy absorbing bumper systems attempt to reduce vehicle damage as a result of a collision by managing impact energy and intrusion while not exceeding a rail load limit of the vehicle. The efficiency of an energy absorber is defined as the amount of energy absorbed over distance travelled during deformation.
[003] One of the conventional solutions discloses an energy absorber with crash cans that includes a beam and an injection molded energy absorber secured to the beam. The aforementioned energy absorber provided with ripples and other crush boxes makes the design very complex to manufacture. Another conventional solution discloses a vehicle impact energy absorber that includes a threaded post, housing, a friction member and a sleeve. The disadvantage of this conventional solution is that the threads may break due to the impact load. Also, the conventional solutions are not easy to manufacture.
[004] Therefore, there exists a need for an energy absorber that can eliminate the aforementioned drawbacks.

OBJECTS
[005] The principal object of an embodiment of this invention is to provide an energy absorber that absorbs energy effectively during low speed impact or collisions.
[006] Another object of an embodiment of this invention is to provide an energy absorber that is easy to manufacture and assemble.
[007] Yet, another object of an embodiment of this invention is to provide an energy absorber that is less in weight.
[008] These and other aspects of the embodiments herein will be better appreciated and understood when considered in conjunction with the following description and the accompanying drawings. It should be understood, however, that the following descriptions, while indicating preferred embodiments and numerous specific details thereof, are given by way of illustration and not of limitation. Many changes and modifications may be made within the scope of the embodiments herein without departing from the spirit thereof, and the embodiments herein include all such modifications.
