Energy Efficient Vehicle Refregeration System Using Hybrid Regrigeration Methods

Abstract: In this invention, hybrid refrigeration methods of various types are used to achieve zero electricity or zero fuel consuming supply cold chain logistics. In this system unique nano element doped thermo electric devices containing better heat isolation are used. Inbuilt mechanisms are powered with mechanical advantage based systems, solar panels or inverter based rechargeable battery systems. Here kinetic energy of moving vehicle and its exhaust fumes are also utilized to produce required energy for refrigeration. This container will be stationed on any vehicle to make it a mobile cold storage. This will be used in rural areas and in supply cold chain logistics.

Specification

Preamble to the description:

Complete Specification:

Summary:

In the summary of invention, each important salient feature is explained as follows:

Peltier based system:

• In this system peltiers are arranged on top surface and bottom surface of vehicle

• when a peltier is given voltage, it shows extremely high temperature at one end and extremely low temperatures at other end.

• peltiers arranged such that one portion is facing towards inside and other portion is attached to a heat sync.

• heat sync is exposed atmospheric air.

• temperatures of these peltiers could be controlled by changing voltage supplied

• when peltiers are connected, cold portion is exposed to passenger chamber

• when warmth is needed, positive and negative are swapped to generate heat

• other end is exposed to a cavity on the walls

Vortex based system:

• In this method, vortex tube enveloped in ultrasonic wave producing device to harness the advantage of acoustics is placed over the top of vehicle cabin or over carrier cabin.

• The air will be taken inside with high pressure when the vehicle is under motion, and depending on velocity of vehicle a sudden purging air flow takes place at the entry inlet of vortex tube.

• A solenoid valve with microprocessor controlled system is put in the path of inlet air flow to regulate and obtain uniform flow into the vortex column which separates air mixture into hot and cold streams at respective outlets

• Cold air will be passed through copper tubes surrounding the chamber to be chilled.

• In this system invention issues are enhancing the airflow management with ultrasonic acoustic, solenoid valve controlled using automation and also making use of hot air for better utilisation of vehchle fuel.

4. Description

In this invention, hybrid refrigeration methods of various types are used to achieve zero electricity or zero fuel consuming supply cold chain logistics.

Background of invention

The present vehicle refrigeration system works with the use of Chloro-Floro-Carbon (CFC). The process fllows as below.

We can find a long thin tube tube that loops back and forth. This tube connected to a pump which is powered by an electric motor. Inside the tube is freon a type of gas. Freon is the brand of the gas. This gas is chemically called CFC.

CFC starts out as a liquid. The pump pushes the CFC through a lot of coils in a freezer area. There the chemical turns to vapor. When it does it soaks up some of the heat that may be in the freezer compartment. As it does this, this coil get colder and the freezer begins to get colder.

This CFC was found to hurt the environment if it leaks from the refrigerator. So the other chemicals are used in slightly different process

6. Brief description of drawing:

• Peltiers are arranged on top surface and bottom surface of vehicle, cold portion facing towards inside

• When warmth is needed, positive and negative are needed be swapped to generate heat

• Other end is exposed to a cavity on the walls

7. Claims

These methods of refrigeration's are used depending on the feasibility of the technologies discussed, the following are the claims.

1. This method of invention device is used in vehicle refrigeration for vegetables, fruits, eggs and other post-harvest logistics.

2. This method of invention device is used to refrigerate vehicle refrigeration of logistics used for medicines, vaccines, biotech products.

3.This method of invention device is used for mobile cold storages.

4.This method of invention device is used for passenger transportation like buses, cars, lorries etc.

5. This method of invention device is used for export cargo units used in air flight, marine transportations.

6. This method of invention device is used for train bogies, goods bogies and for metro transport systems.
