Engine Head Structure

Abstract: Provided is an engine head structure with which, through further ingenuity in a fuel accumulator, a support structure thereof, etc., as many solutions as possible can be achieved among "omitting or shortening as much as possible a fuel pipe that can withstand high pressure," "simplifying or omitting a support bracket for the fuel accumulator and/or a fuel injection device," and "reducing the number of components." In this engine head structure: a support bracket 3, which is for attaching, to a cylinder head 12, a fuel accumulator 1 provided with a part 1B for joining to a fuel injection device 2, is disposed on the side of the fuel injection device 2 or between adjacent fuel injection devices 2; and the support bracket 3 is formed into a member having a mounting part 3C on which the fuel accumulator 1 is mounted, an attachment leg 3A that extends from the mounting part 3C and that is for attachment to the cylinder head 12, and an alignment leg 3B that extends from the mounting part 3C and that is for positioning relative to the cylinder head 12.
