Abstract: [Problem] To provide an ethylene-a-olefin copolymer superior in formability and particularly superior in mechanical strength to conventional ones. [Solution] A copolymer of ethylene satisfying the following requirements (1) to (7) and a-olefin having 4-10 carbon atoms: (1) Density: 890-925 kg/m3; (2) MFR (190°C, 2.16 kg load): 3.0-15.0 g/10 min; (3) MT (melt tension)/?* (shear viscosity): 1.40 × 10-4-2.90 × 10-4g/P; (4) 0.01 × 10-13 × Mw3.4 = ?0 (zero shear viscosity) = 4.5 × 10-13 × Mw3.4; (5) -2.0 = Mz/Mw - Mw/Mn = 15; (6) Number of vinyls and the like: 0.1-1.0/1000 C; and (7) Plurality of peaks being present on melting curve of DSC.
