Abstract: ABSTRACT EXHAUST SMOKE ELIMINATING DEVICE The present invention relates to a smoke elimination assembly (100). More particularly, the present invention provides a device for reducing the density of exhaust gas by eliminating smoke using electric field comprising of a hollow cylinder (106), a rod (105), a smoke chamber (107), a plate (104) and an electrical unit means (101) adapted to circulate the electric charge from negative to positive characterized in that the rod (105) connected to positive electric charge is suspended in the said hollow cylinder (106) at the midpoint and having no physical contact between them. The present invention device puts immediate control on the polluting smoke and filter the visible particles upto 100%. The present invention is economical, easy to install and easy to maintain. FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention relates to a device for elimination of smoke.
More particularly, the present invention provides aassembly for reducing the density of exhaust gas by eliminating smoke using electric field and providing a clean air in an environment.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
We all are facing serious problems of global warming and air pollution due to burning of fossil fuels and uncontrolled burnings of landfills. The industrialization has caused and are continuing serious damage to the atmosphere due to generation of flue gases and high density smoke.

Smoke is a collection of airborne solid and liquid particulates and gases[1] emitted when a material undergoes combustion or pyrolysis, together with the quantity of air that is entrained or otherwise mixed into the mass. It is commonly an unwanted by-product of fires.
Thecomposition of smoke depends on the nature of the burning fuel and the conditions of combustion. Smoke is an aerosol (or mist) of solid particles and liquid droplets that are close to the ideal range of sizes for scattering of visible light.
It is reported that inhalation of air having high density smoke is the primary cause of poisoning and pulmonary irritation in human beings.

Many conventional exhaust systems are available to absorb the smoke using different type of filters.
Indian Patent Application 201721028062, discloses a system comprising series of filter enclosed within a chamber, an inlet for polluted air, an outlet for treated air, a power source, a liquid chamber for storing an alkali, a liquid chamber for storing aqueous soda lime, a pump for pumping liquid to respective filters; said series of filter in sequence.

Indian Patent Application 2129/MUM/2007, discloses a system comprising lime water chamber.
The disadvantages of above mentioned prior arts includes bulky apparatus withmajor cost in handling, replenishing and cleaning of filters and installation of high capacity of liquid tanks for absorption of harmful chemicals and collect residues. Also, the residue causes landfill.

The inventor of present invention has developed a device for eliminating high density smoke. The invention has varied uses to control air pollution and reduce carbon footprint. It can be installed and commissioned at almost every smoke emitting exhausts.
The idea is to put immediate control on the polluting smoke and filter the visible particles up to 100%. The present invention is economical, easy to install and easy to maintain.
The making and use of various embodiments of the present invention are discussed in detail below and it should be appreciated that the present invention provides many applicable inventive concepts that can be embodied in a wide variety of specific contexts. The specific embodiments discussed herein are merely illustrative of specific ways to make and use the invention and do not delimit the scope of the invention.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION:
• The primary objective of the present invention aims to provide a simple and inexpensive device for purifying exhaust gases.
• One more objective of the present invention is to provide a device for elimination of smoke to improve the air quality by restricting the smoke at its source of emission in real time.
• Another objective of the present invention is to provide a smoke eliminator which does effluent scrubbing liquid generated from the apparatus.
• One more objective of the present invention is to provide a smoke eliminator which is easy to install, scalable as per the need and does not require routine cleaning/replenishing.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention provides a device for elimination of high density smoke emitted by Industries, Automobiles, Gensets, Diesel Engines, Locomotives, Incinerators, Restaurant kitchens, Furnaces etc. The said device eliminates the smoke and visible particles of flue gases by using electric field.

Hence, the present invention provides a smoke elimination assembly (100) comprises,
a hollow cylinder (106) for receiving a captive smoke and having a contact member (102) adopted for providing terminal connectivity for negative electric charge;
a rod (105) having a contact member (103) adopted for providing terminal connectivity for positive electric charge
a smoke chamber (107) adopted for receiving a smoke from smoke generating area (108), wherein the said smoke chamber formed below the said hollow cylinder placed in an upright direction, to provide and prevent smoke leakage transferring from smoke chamber to top of the cylinder,
an electrical unit means (101) adapted to circulate the electric charge from negative to positive connections,
a plate (104) assembled with said rod to provide support,
Wherein said plate includes a nuts and grooves at the back side to firmly fix the said rod in a position;
Characterized in that the rod (105) connected to electric charge is suspended in the said hollow cylinder (106) at the midpoint and having no physical contact between them.
Wherein, the said smoke chamber (107) is connected to series of said hollow cylinder (106) having suspended rod (105).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
The making and use of various embodiments of the present invention are discussed in detail below and it should be appreciated that the present invention provides many applicable inventive concepts that can be embodied in a wide variety of specific contexts. The specific embodiments discussed herein are merely illustrative of specific ways to make and use the invention and do not delimit the scope of the invention.
The present invention, which achieves the objectives, relates to a industrial/domestic smoke elimination assembly for providing a clean gas into an environment with and regulatory Standards. The assembly comprises an installation of anode and cathode safely placed in the required position, which provides electric field between the hollow cylinder only when electric supply is operated and breaks the chemical bond between molecules present in flue gases passing through that area and allow releasing Oxygen in the atmosphere.
The present invention relates to an assembly for elimination of high density smoke emitted by Industries, Automobiles, Gensets, Diesel Engines, locomotives, Incinerators, Restaurant kitchens, Furnaces etc. The said device eliminates the smoke and visible particles of flue gases by using electric field.
The said apparatus/gadget is an electro-mechanical assembly of component specially designed and positioned at the terminal of exhausts. The prime function is to filter the Carbon compounds (soot) and release cleaner air in real time.
Accordingly, the present invention provides a device for elimination of smoke comprising of a condenser, electric field unit with inlet for smoke and outlet for clean air.
As illustrated in figure 1, the present invention provides a smoke elimination assembly (100) comprises,
a hollow cylinder (106) for receiving a captive smoke at desired velocity and having a contact member (102) adopted for providing terminal connectivity for negative electric charge;
a rod (105) having a contact member (103) adopted for providing terminal connectivity for positive electric charge
a smoke chamber (107) adopted for receiving smoke from smoke generating area (108), wherein the said smoke chamber formed below the said hollow cylinder placed in an upright direction, to provide and prevent smoke leakage transferring from smoke chamber to top of the cylinder,
an electrical unit means (101) adapted to circulate the electric charge from negative to positive connections,
a plate (104) assembled with said rod to provide support,
Wherein said plate includes a nuts and grooves at the back side to firmly fix the said rod in a position;
Characterized in that the rod (105) connected to positive electric charge is suspended in the said hollow cylinder (106) at the midpoint and having no physical contact between them.
Wherein, the said smoke chamber (107) is connected to series of said hollow cylinder (106) having suspended rod (105).
In accordance to present invention, the electric field unit is having negative charge cylinder/pipe with concentric rod connected to positive end of condenser. The said
SS cylinder creates uniform electric field throughout the cylinder instead of creating individual arcs. The cylinders are systematically positioned at a safe distance from the electric unit. They are positioned vertically and perpendicular on the smoke chamber.
The electrodes (anodes) are connected to the electrical unit and are positioned suspended in the cylinders at the mid-point (equal distance is to be maintained from all sides of anode to get the best results). The anodes are suspended with a special design mechanism for effective working and easy maintenance.
In Figure 2, it illustrates a perspective view of (A) cylinders (106) and plate (104), (A) anode (106). Whereas, in Figure 3: Illustrates a side view of Smoke Elimination assembly as embodiment of present invention.
And further an accompanied Figure 4, Illustrates a top view of Smoke Elimination assembly as embodiment of present invention, showing an attachment (110) and (111) for fixing the rod to plate.

The smoke chamber is designed according to the volume of smoke generated. It is also taken in consideration about the smoke temperature, moisture content etc. The smoke chamber at its bottom is equipped with an outlet for condensed material. The condensed material is a mixture of water and some amount of tar and acids.
The cylinders are interlocked with the smoke chamber to make it perpendicular and also airtight to avoid any smoke leakage. These are fitted in a series and multiples of 2 (2,4,6,8…) as per the smoke volume and velocity. In some cases a single cylinder can also be effective. The number of units to be installed can be calculated as per the smoke exhaust measurements. The number of cylinders vary from case to case.
The anode connectors can be made of Copper, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel etc. They are machined to smooth round surface to ensure no electric leakage through cracks or sharp pointed edges. These connectors are machined with holes to hold the anodes firmly and at the desired position. The other end of the connector is fixed on high-grade glass epoxy sheet. The glass epoxy sheet is a high grade insulator and prevents any leakage or shorts among the terminals.
The anodes are connected to the connector with butterfly nuts (SS) for easy installation and maintenance. The mechanism is simplified and fool-proof to ensure that any unskilled operator can also be able to fix it. The anodes are held suspended in the cylinders. The anodes are connected in series with the SED. One SED can be used to connect upto 6 cylinders, more preferably upto 10 cylinders.

Wherein, the electric field unit is configured using electric conductive material, comprising of positive and negative terminals connected to said condenser to generate high voltage electric field, more specifically between DC 11,000 volts to 30,000 volts. The most interesting part is we have invented a high-performance device which utilizes 230V AC current Single Phase Power. With our innovation we have successfully managed to control the consumption of power by limiting its usage to 1unit for 6 hours.
The device is equipped with a 2Amp fuse which is easily available at any small electrical shop. In any overload or untoward situation, the fuse is the first part to go off. By replacing the fuse, the unit functioning can be easily restored.
The unit can work continuously for 15 hours in the range of input supply of AC 150V – 280V. It is carefully designed to address to the voltage fluctuations, temperature variations and weather conditions. The entire electronic and electrical mechanism is moulded in high grade epoxy to make it strong, tamper-proof, weather-proof, heat-resistant, inter-circuitry malfunctioning proof etc. It is made as a Plug-and-Play device for easy installation. The high voltage cable from the unit is additionally insulated with silicon. The Output current is not more than 0.01mA which makes it safe from any hazardous electric shocks. The 3 core input power cable is necessary for proper earthing so as to ensure total safety.
In accordance one of important embodiment of the present invention, the working of said assembly (100) is explained below:
The captive smoke passing through the cylinders at a given flow speed gets in contact with the electric field. It has been observed and supported with the lab tests that through the cylinders the pollutant molecules break/disintegrate. The Carbon molecules stick to the inner cylinder wall as well as the anodes, while Oxygen gets released to the air. The deposited Carbon on the cylinders and the anodes can be scraped easily. The scraping of Carbon has to be done regularly for effective performance of the unit.
Inventive Step: Initially the anode was fixed with spacers (physical contact) in the cylinders. However, during the working, it was observed that the carbon particles deposited on the spacers resulting in short circuit and malfunctioning of the assembly. Various types of spacer material, design and assembly mechanisms were tried. But the deposition of Carbon seemed unavoidable. During the development and identifying solution to problem, the inventor thought of with suspended anode. The idea was to eliminate the physical bodies inside the cylinder. The other issue was the anode connector needed to be positioned at a safer distance from the cylinder so as to eliminate the chances of electric shorts. Hence the anode was fixed from a height to enter the cylinder freely but firmly to maintain the equidistance in the cylinder. The idea worked successful and effective.
With the lab tests it has been inferred that the Carbon di Oxide, Carbon Monoxide molecules do break and Oxygen is released. The said uniformly formed electric field enables instant breaking / ionisation of high density smoke coming from inlet and passing through the cylinder towards outlet. Thereby leaving only clean, clear and odourless, breathable air in an environment. The material of cylinder is selected from and not limiting to aluminium, iron, mild Steel and Stainless Steel.
The material of positive rod is selected from and not limiting to copper or copper coated with silver, stainless steel etc.
Inventive subject matter of the present invention provides a system and method for reducing pollutants, high density smoke, and harmful gases.
In accordance second of important embodiment of the present invention, the method of working of said assembly (100) is explained below:
1) Receiving the smoke from smoke generating area (108) in collection chamber (107),
It is important to collect the exhaust smoke in a chamber to circulate, condense and pass smoothly through the installed cylinders only. The smoke chamber is constructed on consideration of temperature, volume and velocity of smoke. The idea is to reduce temperature and velocity for effective results. It also helps to reach the dewpoint of certain flue gases like SO2 (116degCel). The smoke chamber volume is dependent on the volume of smoke received. The smoke settles in the chamber and then passes through the cylinders without any external pressure mechanism.
2)allowing to pass the smoke through leak proof cylinder (105) installed above the collection chamber,
The slow and smooth release of smoke through the cylinders helps the electric field to ionise the molecules. By the time the smoke reaches the other end of cylinder, the entire particulate matter is effectively broken/ionised eventually releasing the clean and odourless air.

3)Generating electric field between the empty passage of hollow cylinder by applying electric current on anode and cathode using electric unit means (101),
The electric field created in the cylinder is designed and regulated as per the smoke volume and particle content. The voltage rises or reduces proportionately to the smoke pressure on anode. The average voltage is 18,000 volts which can rise upto 30,000 volts in order to eliminate the smoke particles.The suspended anode creates smooth and undisturbed electric field. It also helps smooth passage for the smoke eventually making the entire assembly to function effectively.
4)Allowing chemical break down of gaseous molecules into individual atoms forming a pure oxygen, moisture and heavy deposition of tar,
The electric field breaks the compounds (eg. CO2 breaks to C + O2). Where we get the Carbon (C) deposited on the anode and the cylinder while the Oxygen (O2) gets released to air.
Because the smoke chamber is allowing the reduction in temperature of smoke, the moisture condensation takes place in the chamber. During such process it also happens that SO2 dewpoint is achieved in the chamber resulting in formation of Sulphorous acid (H2SO3)/Sulphuric acid (H2SO4) which gets collected in the smoke chamber. The SO2 gas is thus restricted to get emitted in the environment thus eliminating the air pollution. The formed acids can be collected from the chamber through the liquid outlet and disposed off easily.
5)Allowing to exit oxygen in atmosphere devoid of any dense particles or hazardous gases.
Getting Oxygen released through such activity is itself an advantage. The primary objective of eliminating the visible particles is achieved which is the major concern across the globe.
The present invention is further described with the help of the following examples, which are given by way of illustration purpose only and therefore should not be construed to limit the scope of the invention in any manner.
Example 1: Working and performance of Assembly as disclosed in present invention:
The smoke elimination assembly (100) were installed at the smoke generating location and smoke release were analysed (By Flue Gas Analysis Method) the chemical properties of exit gas with respect to the structural and functional arrangement of assembly. Results are tabulated in table 1 and 2.

We claim,
1. A smoke elimination assembly (100) comprises,
a hollow cylinder (106) for receiving a captive smoke and having a contact member (102) adopted for providing terminal connectivity for negative electric charge;
a rod (105) having a contact member (103) adopted for providing terminal connectivity for positive electric charge
a smoke chamber (107) adopted for receiving a smoke from smoke generating area (108), wherein the said smoke chamber formed below the said hollow cylinder placed in an upright direction, to provide and prevent smoke leakage transferring from smoke chamber to top of the cylinder,
an electrical unit means (101) adapted to circulate the electric charge from negative to positive connections,
a plate (104) assembled with said rod to provide support,
Wherein said plate includes a nuts and grooves at the back side to firmly fix the said rod in a position;
Characterized in that the rod (105) connected to positive electric charge is suspended in the said hollow cylinder (106) at the midpoint and having no physical contact between them.
2. The smoke elimination assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said smoke chamber (107) is connected to series of said hollow cylinder (106) having suspended rod (105).
3. The smoke elimination assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said hollow cylinder (106) is constructed from the conductive material selected from Copper, copper coated with silver, Mild Steel and Stainless Steel.
4. The smoke elimination assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said rod (105) is constructed from the conductive material selected from Copper, Mild Steel, copper coated with silver and Stainless Steel.
5. The smoke elimination assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said plate (104) is constructed from the nonconductive material selected from Glass epoxy and silicon.
6. The smoke elimination assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the outer surface of rod (105) is provided with smooth round surface to ensure no electric leakage through cracks and sharp pointed edges
7. The smoke elimination assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said electrical unit means (101) is provided with earth pin (109) and fuse.
8. The smoke elimination assembly (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said assembly is adapted to make electrical field between anode rod and cathode cylinder to break the gases into individual molecules and individua atoms.
