Extended Release Tablets Of Metformin And Glipizide
Abstract: The present invention relates to extended release tablet containing metformin and glipizide for treating patients with non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) on a once-a day basis. The extended release tablet provides therapeutically effective plasma levels of metformin as well as glipizide for a period of at least 12 hours, particularly 24 hours.
