Abstract: An extraction merriment apparatus as per the present invention comprises a spinner, a plurality of boards, a plurality of cards, a plurality of blocking element, and a plurality of pattern-shaped elements. The extraction merriment apparatus is operated by selecting a board out of the plurality of design boards and further, choosing and distribution of five cards from the plurality of cards, depending on the level, to each user. The spinning of the spinner makes the spinner point towards a particular shape from a plurality of shapes displayed on the spinning device. Further, identification of a similar pattern to extract thereof, and blocking the same to indicate the extracted shape. The same helps in reproducing the pattern on the cards of the users.
FIELD OF INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to a merriment apparatus. More particularly, the present invention relates to a standalone extraction merriment apparatus.
BACKGROUND
[002] Merriment apparatuses have been prevalent in the market since decades. Such apparatuses involve mental, strategical, or logical abilities, depending on their operational method.
[003] These may be for children as well as for adults, based on the level of the intellectual ability to be applied. These can be classified broadly as either educational or entertainment ones. There are many known types of educational merriment apparatuses, one of which is the standalone educational merriment apparatuses, comprising a printed matter placed on top of a hardware.
[004] The main disadvantage of this type of educational apparatuses is that they are not suitable and/or convenient for younger children. Another disadvantage of this type of educational apparatuses is that they are expensive.
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
[005] Objects of the present invention involve overcoming the above-mentioned problem associated with the existing type of educational merriment apparatuses.
[006] Primary object of the present invention is to provide an educational merriment apparatus that is standalone in nature.
[007] Another object of the present invention is to provide a standalone educational merriment apparatus that is cost effective.
[008] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an educational merriment apparatus that is easily operated by beginners, young children and adolescents.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[009] An extraction merriment apparatus as per the present invention comprises a spinner, a plurality of boards, a plurality of cards, a plurality of blocking element, and a plurality of pattern-shaped elements.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0010] The following description describes various features and functions of the disclosed system. The illustrative aspects described herein are not meant to be limiting. It may be readily understood that certain aspects of the disclosed system can be arranged and combined in a wide variety of different configurations, all of which may not have been contemplated herein.
[0011] These and other features, including the advantages of the present invention may be incorporated into certain embodiments of the invention which will become fully apparent from the following description, and more apparent from the description to be followed in the complete specification.
[0012] Accordingly, those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that various changes and modifications of the embodiments described herein can be made without departing from the scope of the invention. In addition, descriptions of well-known functions and constructions are omitted for clarity and conciseness.
[0013] It is to be understood that the singular forms "a", "an", and "the" include plural reference, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise.
[0014] It should be emphasized that the term "comprises/comprising" when used in this specification is taken to specify the presence of stated features, integers, steps or components, but does not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, integers, steps, components or groups thereof.
[0015] In order to provide basic understanding of some aspects of the invention, a simplified description of the invention is presented herein. It is not an extensive overview of this invention. Also, it is neither intended to identify the key/critical elements of the invention nor to define the scope of the invention.
[0016] The present invention discloses a merriment apparatus for teaching extraction of components based on moves of the plurality of users.
[0017] The apparatus comprises, but is not limited to, a spinner, a plurality of boards, a plurality of cards, a plurality of blocking element, and a plurality of pattern-shaped elements.
[0018] A board is selected out of the plurality of design boards and further depending on the level, five cards from the plurality of cards are chosen and distributed to each user. The user spins the spinner making the spinner point towards a particular shape from a plurality of shapes displayed on the spinning device.
[0019] The user is then required to identify a similar pattern shape on the board and extract a similar shape from a plurality of shapes. Thereafter, the user is required to place a blocking element from the plurality of blocking elements, to indicate that the shape is already extracted and cannot be extracted again. The extracted shapes are then placed to reproduce the pattern on the cards of the users, displayed on the corresponding extraction shaped element from the plurality of pattern-shaped elements.
[0020] The user then uses the collected pattern-shaped element to make the design on their respective cards. The aim is for the users to make maximum number of geometrical
designs/figures until all the shapes in the board get exhausted. The user aims to have the highest cumulative score pursuant to the extraction by completing maximum designs on the cards.
[0021] Another embodiment of the present invention discloses a plurality of users participating wherein the maximum number of users are at least but not limited to four and the minimum of at least two. The present invention also discloses a method for operation of such standalone extraction merriment apparatus. The number of users mentioned is not to limit the scope of the invention, but only to further enhance the understanding of the invention to a person skilled in the art.
[0022] As per an alternate embodiment, the present invention may be optionally realized through an electronically connected means.
[0023] The present invention also discloses a method for operation of such standalone compiling merriment apparatus.
[0024] While the present invention has been described with reference to one or more preferred aspect, which have been set forth in considerable details for the purpose of making a disclosure of the invention, such aspects are merely exemplary and are not intended to be limiting or represent an exhaustive enumeration of all aspects of the invention. The scope of the invention, therefore, shall be defined solely by the claims to be followed in the complete specification. Further, it will be apparent to those skills in the art that numerous changes may be made in such details without departing from the principles of the invention.
